Here I went for a smoother quality. Oil on canvas 22x41cm

Translucent surfaces on the streets of Seoul.

A cosplayer wearing translucent wings! Sitting near a source of strong backlighting! The true connoisseur goes to a big con hoping to see this, not the 3,000 seat Marvel Movie panel.

(Assuming he or she is into photography, and remembered to bring his or her good external flash for fill.)

She's dressed as a character from gaming, I'm guessing? Because I'm pretty good at recognizing comic book characters, she doesn't look anime, and any character that's left is usually a gaming character.

Un hommage au peintre Poulbot, célèbre pour ses portraits d'enfants dans Paris.

Für Berti (eulenbilder)

Smoke, water and a mystical spirit figure. Originally produced for Flickr Friday "See Through" but I decided to post a different picture as this was similar to my Macro Monday "Song" post.

we just had the first frosty nights, but this hydrangea lets not impressed by that, she´s still florishing...

I took a few shots of jellyfish at the Vancouver Aquarium. This is the first one. My camera tops out at ISO 400 so not many turned out well. I did get a few.

Our weather is changing fast today with wet, heavy snow just north into Minnesota. Sigh...

Concocted with Sketches app on an iPad.

Abbey's hat is seriously perplexing to me. It really is quite fabulous, but it only lays right, to me at least, when Abbey's hair is in the default style. Not to mention how hard the true color is to capture on film. See that purple area of Abbey's suit? That's closer to the hat's actual color!

I used morning sunlight as light source from the back side of the kiwi.

Illuminated by the setting sun.
