A very tricky build. It took me a good day and a half to finish this. I had a limited amount of olive green so I used a lot of bley for most parts. Pretty nice robot mode. Transformation is a pain. I couldn't add the machine gun to the claw arm because it wouldn't fit in vehicle mode. Also, the back turret sits too far from the main body and looks a bit awkward. Despite these flaws I am pretty satisfied with the results.

This is my review of the Transformer Autobot Inferno MOC aka Firechief by Alex Jones, build with Webrick parts.

I assume most of you will recognize this Generation 1 ("G1") Transformer Inferno, but especially people like me who grew up in the 1980s 😊.
You would think this could never work, so much details and moving parts in a relatively small build, but Alex has done it! This is where you see his background as a toy designer and being a Lego Master Germany winner.
If there would be something to complain, it would be the weak mid-section and some of the older and more expensive parts. Still, it holds up well in standing position and the ladder helps to balance the MOC, and but for many of the older parts, you can find a cheaper Lego alternatives.

Webrick is offering a bricks service for MOC builders. You upload the part list via their website and you instantly get the % of available bricks and their cost.
In the case of the Firechief, 16 parts were not available. I looked them up on BL or my own inventory. This makes a +96% hit rate on part list.
They mainly use GoBricks parts. The pieces are really good, super color consistency and only few scratches.

This Pasadena location was used for the filming of the 2007 movie "Transformers" (top). This is the location where Shia goes over the handle bars of his bike while getting chased by Bumble Bee.
Jazz from the 2007 movie. It was really hard to go from the largest transformer in the movie (Blackout) to the smallest. Probably the worst transformer I built so far. It really was a big challenge to make him as small as possible to be in scale with the other transformers I made and still be able to transform. Very disproportioned but I tried my best.
Overlord is a Decepticon leader from Transformers:Masterforce cartoon series
He comprised of a #military tank and a jet plane , piloted by human characters Giga and Mega respectively. Both of them are Powermaster engine that can be plugged to Overlord to enhance his strength an firepower.
Both the tank and jet plane also can merge to form a highly weaponized base mode with ramps ,platforms and grapple arms for maintenance and repair of smaller Transformers.

Primer Reissue (reedición) de un transformer G1 que consigo. No tienen la misma calidad de los originales, pero si se quiere conseguir personajes de la G1 en excelente estado y no se tiene mucho dinero, las reediciones son una excelente opción.
