Today's mech is the kind of guy Transformer you wouldn't want to meet at night. Or at daylight. Or at all.
Having seen 'Bumblebee' in the beginning of the year I immediately the design of the Decepticon Blitzwing – and the coincidence of having to build a mech a week gave me a perfect excuse to capture him in the brick and try to replicate all the detail the movie model has. He doesn't transform and I wish I had had a bit more time but he still looks pretty awesome in person :)

The 128ton transformer, which was offloaded by barge at Black Rock Sands being transported by truck (Mammoet Trojan) to Trawsfynydd Power Station.
We found this mural of a Transformer downtown. So many cool murals to post, but don't want to do just murals, lol! I thought the detail in this was just incredible, whoever did it is talented!
First of all i have to say that my blood and tears are all over the model not only in sense.

Hasbro, when producing Transformers
legolized (kre-olized) they at least should TRANSFORM !
After my first version a couple of years ago i thought i give him the right colors and scale him down a bit.
He´s one of my favorite TF
models so far.
The jet mode is supposed to be a F-15
even when the shape is not perfect,
i hope you get the idea and like this
legolized Starscream.
Building both digital and physical at the same time,
to finalize a few more Transformers models.
This theme never seems to let go of me.
With so many characters that fit the Lego color palette,
it will be another decade of building i guess :D
The statues display at the Silver Leaf Garden, Gardens by the Bay during Transformers : Rise of the Beasts Statues World Tour.
First model in a line of following Transformers creations.
Not all of them will be built with LEGO though.
On this character the colors did work too well to not give it a try.
Original from the asian Dorvack toyline Roadbuster was next to
Jetfire and Whirl one of the more advanced HASBRO Transformers releases.
Diecast and high detail transformation made them called Autobot Deluxe vehicles.
The new LEGO balljoints came handy for the transformation on the feet and body.
Also the new 1x2 curved slopes in dark brown made for a perfect headpiece.

This month's LUGNuts challenge is called 'Cars Too'. The Challenge is to build a car from the movie Cars 2 or any other anthropomorphic car.
I have never seen Cars and instead decided to go for the ultimate anthropomorphic car: a Transformer!
I have been building transformers lego models for two decades now, constantly growing my collection, there were always one thing left do figure out.
How to build a combiner ?
We all know the limitations through weight on our models versus what we would want from certain bricks and their clutchpowers.
Bruticus and the combaticons were on my wishlist for a long time, so i have been working on those models over the past months, first working out each individual character and then the combine mode.
It needs still a support stand, which also serves as display stand, just to keep the weight up, he is very heavy, standing tall around 60cm.
