Update on my Transformers Masterpiece Collection....All are of the Takara-Tomy brand except for the latest addition that is Masterpiece Rodimus Prime...
I thought the hunt for MP Rodimus Prime would be similar to what I experienced back in 2007 when I desperately searched for the Walmart-exclusive MP Starscream. Initially, it looked to be that way as this figure was scarcely available in Toys R Us retail stores in my area.
Now I wonder if the Takara-Tomy MP-10 (Convoy 2.0) will be re-released by Hasbro in the future? Hasbro never released the MP-7 Thundercracker but we saw MP-8 Grimlock released last year.
I think I'll skip getting MP-10 just solely because of the high-price...

Blackout from the 2007 Transformers movie. Build was easier than I thought and came out pretty smoothly. Blackout is pretty big and barely touches the top of my lighting box. (He's the biggest transformer in the movie.) He is very heavy and sometimes has trouble standing up but is very sturdy. In case you are wondering, it does transform. ALL the transformers I build can transform. Check out the transformation video in my photo stream.
The model is based on the Alternators Tracks (which appeared as a toy and not in any of the TV shows AFAIK).
Barricade from the 2007 Transformers Movie. Probably my favorite transformer that I built. I really like how the arms came out. Yes, it does transform.
