Here is the Classics/Universe subset of my Transformers collection in their robot modes as of March 2009.
Sometime last year, I was chatting with a cyber-friend of mine, Dee, about some locations out in the Mojave desert that I was looking for. She told me about this highway outside of Edwards Air Force Base where they filmed the scene from Transformers where Optimus Prime pulls a 180 to meet up with Bumble Bee (top). I happen to be in the area today...really!...so I hunted down this piece of highway. More than three years later and the rubber is still as fresh as it was the day it was burned.
It appears that the film crew made a vain attempt to resurface the road with oil (see my satellite image) to cover up the skid marks, but the oil has worn/washed away leaving the beautiful marks for all to still enjoy!!
For you Transformers fans, I have uploaded a series of photos that I took while driving my Tahoe west down Optimus Prime Highway.
If you want to check it out, it is on Rosamond Blvd about 4.5 miles east of the 14 fwy.
The concept, along with the four other Chevrolet Transformer Autobots, debuted at the Chicago Auto Show in February. The DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures film opened in the United States on June 26. The car is on display as part of the National Corvette Museum’s 15th Anniversary Celebration event.

The Chinese garden was officially closed on Sunday, but the gardener opened it up. So no tourist and was free to shot with Predaking. A few kids came by to check out this transformer, told them this was from the original series from the 80's.

El gran Metroplex. Compré en eBay un lote de 7 Transformers más o menos en buen estado, aunque la mayoría incompletos. He ido consiguiendo las piezas de Metroplex en eBay y pienso completarlo pronto.
Most transformer oil is hydroscopic and will absorb moisture from the air. A dessicant breather commonly used to protect the oil. Photo shows the different colors of drying agents. Orange is fresh and new, green is old and spent.

Transformers Animated Wasp in his robot mode. This is the second custom Wasp I made.
This is the version of Wasp after he is accused of being a traitor, but before he turns into Waspinator.
He's a custom made from the deluxe-class Bumblebee toy, and he's got a custom sculpted head along with his unique paint job.
This is the figure that I gave to a friend, and it has a bit better brow that better matches TFA Bumblebee.

Caught the Ferris Wheel Transformer in road mode before it transformed into ride mode (see first comment below) for Rose Festival City Fair which opens tonight 5/22/15 with fireworks. i4s12170
Some Transformers I've gotten recently. Most of these are from the Transformers Prime show, which I've really been liking.
Bulkhead, Optimus, Arcee, Cliffjumper, and Starscream are "First Edition" Prime toys - and they are significantly better quality than the rest - better plastic, joints, transformation, and show accuracy are all just far superior to the others.
Grimlock is from the Fall of Cybertron line.
