We have been very spoiled this last year with all the female Transformers we've been getting. In the last year alone we got Arcee, Chromia and Windblade and now the new Robots in Disguise series has given us a new female protagonist, Strongarm.
She's a "tough chick" character and while I haven't seen much of the show to get a good idea of her character, this more bulky look fits the law enforcement look she's got going on very well. It's nice to have a female robot that is built more like a male bot what with the entire rear-quarter of her vehicle for making up her lower legs as well as bulky shoulders and her vehicle mode is basically a police truck! It's just a nice change from motorcycles and sleek cars to keep that "petite" female form. She's all blocky and squared off and I just really like it!
Only real downsides are that they didn't go too nuts on paint, which really makes this figure look more bland than it is. Additionally the figure sports folded front grill parts wrapped around her forearms much like Armada Hotshot, which is a shame because she's a nice figure for the most part. I'm also not a huge fan of the GIANT WHITE CIRCLE on her chest just to work in some lame smart phone game app...you know, for kids? I guess?
In all, I really like this. I'll be looking forward to seeing what Takara does with her paint job for their release.

After the movie was filmed, the Transformers had to get day jobs as golf course beer dispensing port-a-potties. There's no more running to the toilet between golf shots, these transpotties run to you and even refill your beer mug.

My wife is testing her makeshift photography studio setup in my home office and as subject, I suggested to take snapshots of my collection.
This is the Takara-Tomy/Hasbro Masterpiece toy line showing the Autobots that have been released so far in the MP 2.0 incarnation...
Of interesting note here, the Lambor/Sideswipe in this group shot is a knockout version w/c I recently purchased through eBay. The original MP-12 that I bought before is displayed as is (in alternate mode out of the box). The KO purchase is a great buy for me, it was more than half off the price of an original Takara-Tomy made MP-12, and the shipping was free!!
I'll be getting the KO MP-12T soon for the same deal. I might customize that with a Sunstreaker head if it becomes available through www.shapeways.com/search?q=sunstreaker

El gran Metroplex. Compré en eBay un lote de 7 Transformers más o menos en buen estado, aunque la mayorÃa incompletos. He ido consiguiendo las piezas de Metroplex en eBay y pienso completarlo pronto.
First look at the robot mode of the Autobot emergency vehicle "Ratchet" from the upcoming Transformers movie.

Inside one of the power generating buildings at this old Bethlehem Steel location in San Francisco. My friend and coworker got lucky by gaining access to one of these decaying buildings. These structures still produce power, they even use some ancient Transformers. I believe these date back to the 1930's or 50s?. Check out the oldskool levers.
Bethlehem Steel wasnt the only corporation that operated here, but it was one of the first. US Iron Works and BAE Systems once occupied these buildings and I think BAE still does, which is scary. These buildings are well secured even if they are falling apart. Massive fences lined with barbed wire hug the exterior of these buildings. This day was just a good day. We got lucky.
The transformers are on both sides of this room. These recently constructed shelters are to protect them from the leaking roof.
Transformers aren't necessarily the most exciting looking things, so I spent a lot of time adding details. It's a proper model in its own right.

Otro de mis Transformers preferidos que tenÃa que volver a conseguir. Falta el arma y los stickers, pero está en muy buen estado; hasta le funcionan las chispas del pecho. Parte del lote con Metroplex.

Transformers Alternity Thundercracker (Robot Mode) frontal angled view
The Transformers Alternity Series Thundercracker is one of my favourite purchases, A high end figure with a lot of detailed put into with a complex challenging transformation. It looks great from multiple angles. The figure itself looks sleek and pays homage to the original Seekers with the armed laser cannons and wings.
