When I started this years 365days project I titled it Transform. I did this because like it or not I was changing. In some ways I knew I would change consciously or unconsciously but at the end of the 365day I would be different. A major component of this transformation occurred today.
Today my divorce was finalized and I am no longer married. I refuse to add commentary to that other than we both agreed to move on. I have been trying to avoid putting this topic here, but yes I am moving because of this reason. Yes this did happen, and this is where I am right now.
On my computer is an image of my wedding, taken over 8 years ago. We stood side by side and said what we said, we were surrounded by friends and family. Today I stood by her side as we stood in front of a judge. We were both alone. The judge spoke remarkably fast with little to no emotion, and with the swipe of his pen we were no longer married. He wished us both luck and we were on our way. That was it.
I am different today, for better or worse.

El presidente de la Junta, Juanma Moreno, ha señalado que el Gobierno andaluz ha invertido en tres años cerca de 78 millones de euros para transformar los puertos andaluces a los que ha definido como motor de desarrollo económico y creación de empleo y una pieza clave para la revitalización de esta comunidad autónoma.
Moreno ha asistido a la inauguración de las obras de modernización y mejora de la sostenibilidad ambiental en los muelles Ingeniero Juan Gonzalo y Ciudad de Palos en el Puerto de Huelva a las que se ha destinado una inversión superior a 22 millones de euros. Estas instalaciones, situadas en el puerto exterior, son dos de los muelles que más tráfico registran en el Puerto de Huelva, ya que, con un movimiento total de cinco millones de toneladas de graneles sólidos, especialmente concentrado de cobre, abonos y cereales, en el año 2021, dieron servicio a más del 16% del volumen de tráfico portuario que se mueve en el puerto onubense. El objetivo, según ha dicho, es el de renovar las instalaciones portuarias, convertirlo en un Puerto inteligente y acercarlo a la ciudad.
De este modo, ha resaltado que este Puerto es el más extenso de España y un gran activo para atraer nuevas inversiones y para generar empleo y ha asegurado que la comunidad portuaria tiene en el Ejecutivo andaluz un gran aliado para cumplir sus retos por lo que ha agradecido a la presidenta de la Autoridad Portuaria de Huelva, Pilar Miranda, el reconocimiento que le ha hecho a la Junta de Andalucía y a su empeño en facilitar el crecimiento, la inversión y modernización este Puerto.
"Para nosotros ha sido un honor haber recibido la Mención Especial en el ámbito institucional en la categoría de Administraciones Públicas. Cuando vivimos el 150 aniversario, el Puerto de Huelva premia una de las cuestiones en las que más se afana la Junta que es la gestión eficiente, las facilidades para emprender proyectos y la colaboración", ha agregado.
El presidente andaluz ha puesto en valor el trabajo y el esfuerzo de la Autoridad Portuaria, el de sus técnicos y el de las empresas instaladas en el Puerto de Huelva para aumentar su actividad, atraer negocio y fortalecer esta fuente de empleo para la ciudad y la provincia.
En este sentido, se ha mostrado convencido de que con el apoyo de todas las administraciones todo el caudal de talento, esfuerzo y audacia seguirán dando resultado y cumpliendo el objetivo de hacer de este Puerto un referente multimodal del Suroeste europeo.
Así, ha incidido en que los puertos andaluces tienen un potencial que debemos aprovechar para ponerlo al servicio del desarrollo de los pueblos y ciudades para lo que se han activado cambios normativos para que estos tengan nuevas oportunidades y para que den mayor seguridad jurídica y económica, atrayendo nuevos usuarios a la red de puertos andaluces y facilitando la inversión privada en los 150.000 metros cuadrados de parcelas desocupadas en que hay en ellos.
De esta forma, ha manifestado que los cambios normativos deben ir acompañados de importantes inversiones que conviertan la red de puertos en una red mejor, con mayor atractivo y con mayor capacidad de actividad económica.
En este punto, ha destacado que la provincia de Huelva va a liderar este año las inversiones y es que ha puntualizado que ya se están haciendo obras por un importe de 3 millones de euros, a la vez que ha apuntado que se van a superar los 11millones con todo lo que está programado.
Moreno se ha referido a algunos de los proyectos entre los que se encuentra el ya inaugurado paseo fluvial de Ayamonte, las obras de la nueva lonja de pescado de Ayamonte, las nuevas instalaciones náuticas de El Granado, las del puerto pesquero del Rompido, las mejoras en el de Isla Cristina o las obras para mejorar instalaciones y condiciones de navegación de la ría en el puerto de Punta Umbría.
Además, ha aseverado que el trabajo público-privado de empresas e instituciones da resultado y ha apostillado que, a pesar de la pandemia, Andalucía ha logrado superar en todos sus índices la situación de partida de sus puertos en los últimos tres años. "Mejorar la operatividad y devolver la importancia a la red de puertos de gestión autonómica ha dado sus frutos”.
A este respecto, ha explicado que de 2019 a cierre de 2021 en los puertos de titularidad de la Junta el volumen de pesca desembarcada en los puertos autonómicos andaluces subió más de un 8%, la media de atraques en puertos deportivos lo hizo en un 15% y otro tanto en lo relacionado con las toneladas comerciales.
Para concluir, ha reiterado el firme compromiso del Gobierno andaluz con los puertos, a los que ha definido como los protagonistas del impulso económico que necesita Andalucía. "Queremos ser líderes, lo somos y necesitamos ejercer el liderazgo y plantearemos esa batalla para que Andalucía lo sea en términos económicos y sociales y en todo aquello en donde tenemos capacidad, potencialidad y talento para hacerlo. Hoy con estas obras damos un paso más en ese liderazgo", ha concluido.
Al acto han asistido el alcalde de Huelva, Gabriel Cruz; la presidenta de la Autoridad Portuaria, Pilar Miranda, y la delegada del Gobierno de la Junta en Huelva, Bella Verano.

This is a toy that I have created inspired from the many cartoons and movies that I watched when I was a child. It transforms from a humanoid to a jet. In the robot humanoid form, it stands approximately 17 inches tall. It is fully posable and stands up on its own. The pictures shown are of the original piece which is currently on display in the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. This is a commissioned piece, meaning once you order, it will take approximately 3-4 weeks to be built and delivered to you. This is a unique artistic toy that I have not seen anything like anywhere else.
