Surprisingly these buses run dead all the way from Keighley (some 12 miles away) to operate this route and the 962, between Otley and Ilkley.
Not having a route number is something that is becoming more common at Transdev under the leadership of Alex Hornby. This current route is a cross town service, linking the old 965 service to the estates north of Otley with Menston railway station and village.
The vehicle pictured started life working on Keighley local routes under the 'Jets' brand, and was then painted into its current livery last year.
