Utrecht, 14 December 2025.
Today the new bus contracts in the province of Utrecht started operation. This saw Transdev take over services from Qbuzz in the city of Utrecht. The wider regional services are retained by Syntus, however the company is now trading as Keolis, the name of it's French owner.
The Van Hool AGG300 double articulated buses, a type which had operated in Utrecht since 2003. However as Van Hool is no longer around a different builder was needed for such long articulated buses, 25 of these Solaris buses being chosen for Utrecht service 28.
The Coastliner 843 operates hourly between Leeds, York, Malton and Scarborough, with an end to end journey time of three hours in either direction!!
Along the way, other places served include Seacroft, Tadcaster, Heworth, Sherburn and Seamer.
419 boots it up the A64 with an 843 to Leeds via York.

A very smart looking B251NVN aka Transdev 125 is seen operating School Service 759 through Tockwith Villiage on Friday 3rd May 2013.
This is a new to United at Darlington in 1984/5.
This is a seeminly new arrival at Harrogate and I saw it on depot at Manse Lane and so presume it is based from there for its Schools operations.
A look at pictures on Flickr show that this has recieved a new grill on the front which has certinaly impoved its apperance greatly. This has to be a prime candidate for preservation and sounded fantastic.
