I took a trip to Thornton-Le-Dale one Saturday in the August of 2019. Though the long, hot summer of June-July was now behind us by that point, it allowed for some highly-scenic shots of the idyllic town during the few hours that we spent there - between the odd heavy rain showers - and it also allowed for me to get a photo of one of Transdev Blazefield's Yorkshire Coastliner buses laying over in a part of the more scenic parts of Yorkshire. I think that this was the only bus I saw at Thornton-Le-Dale that day. Unfortunately, I couldn’t hang around and spot any longer there, because some utterly-awful downpours then came down on us - and it just kept coming. At that point, we decided to leave town bound for Filey.
