The bus has had a new front built, has been refurbished inside now with USB ports on the seats, and has had an engine upgrade also.

Almost facing the axe completely last year leaving many passengers without a direct bus service to Mcr from Ramsbottom and Accrington, instead, it's been downgraded from gemini's to eclipses retaining their Red4 colour scheme, but no longer provides links to Bury as Diamond North West now runs a similar service there. Also it's been downgraded from every 30 minutes to hourly although still running every 30 minutes at peak times.
Also the three steps with Transdev - pay, wifi, charge, jut about standard on all future Transdev buses (except Mellors).
