London United, now Transdev, has favoured Scania for its double decker buses in recent years. Although most recent deliveries have been of the Scania OmniCity, a small batch of nine Darwen Olympus-bodied Scanias, complete with leather seating, was ordered for route 148 at Shepherds Bush. Two of these buses have been loaned to the former Sovereign Garage at Golders Green whilst the Scania OmniDekkas used on route 13 are refurbished. SO5 is seen here having just arrived at Golders Green. These buses have now been withdrawn; one has since turned up in Scotland whilst four have gone to Huddersfield Bus Company.
