Transdev have moved swiftly to replace some of the motley collection of buses acquired with the Rosso (Rossendale Transport) business and a new fleet of Optare Versas has been acquired for service 464. Most of them wear this striking purple-based livery. The 464 links Accrington and Rochdale via Haslingden, Rawtenstall and Bacup, thereby connecting four towns which at one time all had their own municipal bus operations. The bus seen here in Bacup Road, Rawtenstall, is actually working service 482 from Bury to Bacup rather than the 464. (5 Dec 2018)
