As a break from wintery scenes, I decided to revisit our September stay in Seattle. It's an interesting city and there is a lot of urban art. The images in this series were taken while traveling on a train from near the airport to Seattle's downtown area.

As the soft evening light settles over the Mongolian steppe, a long passenger train steadily makes its way through the open landscape. In the foreground, horses graze peacefully by a calm stream — a timeless scene of harmony between nature and movement.

This train is a combination of two routes: the Ulaanbaatar–Erdenet and Ulaanbaatar–Sükhbaatar passenger trains, running coupled together for part of their journey. Captured near Battsengel, this image reflects the rhythm of rural life and the quiet presence of modern transport threading through the vast open land.

Looking back.

I took this one on the Amtrak, going towards Portland, from Vancouver, BC. I have no Idea where this bridge is, or what it's called. I just remember seeing it, and thinking it looked pretty cool from the train window.
