Photo taken at Freilassing-Hofham, Bavaria, on June 11th, 2020.

There's a trainstop in Tucson that I've started to visit during blue hour. Apparently, they're fixing up the tracks - hence the numerous woodpiles. Taken with my D750 and Nikkor 50 mm 1.8d. Color editing via Color Effects Pro (Nik) and Lightroom 5.

A very old train stop next to an unmanned railway crossing at the village Theopetra, in close proximity to Meteora, Greece. The geologically unique complex of lofty rock formations —Meteora— is seen in the background. One can still reach Meteora by train.

The sandstone megaliths' height varies from 1,000 to 1,800 ft (300–550 m). The rock masses were formed 60 million years ago and are listed in UNESCO world heritage sites.

It was nearing 2am and I was bored :-/

EN57-1953 with early morning Bydgoszcz-Piła train departures from trainstop in Krostkowo village.

This trainline is famous Ostbahn -built in 1850's to connect Berlin with Konigsberg. Nowadays only a few IC trains connecting Szczecin/Gorzów Wlkp. with Warsaw/Lublin or Gdańsk are using this line (not counting Regio).

Funny thing - this EN57 aprilfooled it's passengers - during it's return journey EMU broke down for 2 hours in the middle of nowhere XD

Okay, so here I am, standing and freezing on Commonwealth Avenue, waiting for a train to come down those tracks and whisk me -- to the extent that you can ever think of a ride on the Green Line as being whisked -- to downtown Boston. But what's that on the other track? Why, it looks like a train, an outbound train. In fact, it's one of three outbound trains that went by while I waited for just one headed inbound!

A day out to meet Flickr friends. We met in Bot in Terra Alta . Along the Via verde, an old building, part of the trainstop in Bot. Probably the stationmaster's house.

While exploring the Cowichan Valley over the weekend, we once again found ourselves visiting the old train station.

Passengers quickly suck down cigarettes at brief train stop in Siberia. Between Irkutsk and Ulan-Ude

This young couple did not realize about the background picture. They matched perfectly. After I took the picture at the train stop I forced them to look behind. We three had really good laughs about the scenery. Then my train left. Die jungen Leute bemerkten nicht vor welcher Szenerie sie saßen. Nach dem Foto machte ich sie auf das Hintergrundbild aufmerksam mit Zeichen. Wir mussten alle drei herzhaft lachen. Dann fuhr mein Zug weiter.

Beginning sometime in September, 2015, the light rail will run to Milwaukie over the Tilikum Crossing Bridge.

The first chance to cross the Tilikum Crossing Bride will be during Portland's Bridge Pedal on September 12, 2015.

Riders and pedestrians will get cross the bridge twice on the ride.

Since you can work up an appetite with that exercise, participants get free admission to The Bite of Oregon at Waterfront Park.

I live in Massachusetts, and have for almost my whole life, yet still find plenty of places that are unknown to me and love to explore them. Milton, MA was the destination on this past Sunday, where my boyfriend and I found this awesome train car. We first spotted it while exploring the Cedar Grove Cemetery there, (this line runs right through the cemetery, the only one to go through a cemetery on the T in fact), and I almost thought I was seeing things, except he saw it too. So we ventured back out of the cemetery to see if we could find it again and ended up at the Milton T stop, where after a short wait, we spied another beautiful, orange creamsicle rolling our way. I was tempted to get on it and go for a ride, but decided to save it for another day as it was getting late and dark. We ended up waiting around for several more to come and go and meandered down the bike path that goes alongside the tracks there, which proved to be an interesting area in itself. When we got home, I searched for information about the vintage cars and found this:

It's by far the best thing the MBTA has done in a very long time. Bravo!

East of Porto, we ended the train part of our Adventure

Then, we proceeded to try to:

A) Find a Taxi ( no Uber or Bolt drivers apparently.

B) try to explain en Español

( because I haven’t mastered Portuguese, yet!)

C) to take us to a Rural Finca ( Farm) with

no Street Address/only an intersecting Road
