"Na Kołobrzeskim Żeberku"
EP07-1019 oczekuje na zatrudnienie na torze 31, który stanowi jedno z dwóch zelektryfikowanych "żeberek", czyli torów postojowych, w tym przypadki dla lokomotyw.
Lokomotywa kilka dni po wykonaniu niniejszego zdjęcia prowadziła pociąg IC 83170/1 "Ustronie", który stanowi jeden z najważniejszych pociągów sezonowych łączących południe (i wschód) naszego kraju z obszarem nadmorskim.
W ramach ciekawostki, podzielę się z Wami swoją historią związaną z pracą jako Asystent Obsługi Podróżnych wiele lat temu, gdy swój pierwszy sezon w krakowskim oddziale WARS rozpoczynałem właśnie od pociągu TLK Ustronie.
Przez 8 lat zmieniło się niemalże wszystko:
- "Ustronie" kursują z Krakowa i Lublina do Kołobrzegu, zamiast z Krakowa do Kołobrzegu i na Hel;
- wagony sypialne oraz "kuszetki" to obecnie jedne z najnowszych konstrukcji jak np. 140A (Bc8bnouz)/308A (WLAB9bmnouz), które zastąpiły wysłużone wagony GÖRLITZ81 (WLAB10ou lub WLAB10ouz, które posiadały drzwi odskokowo-przesuwne);
- tory odstawcze w Kołobrzegu zostały zmodernizowane i zelektryfikowane, dzięki czemu zakończyło się brodzenie w błocie podczas przemieszczania się.
Mimo, że "Ustronie" w pierwszym sezonie obsługiwałem tylko jeden raz, to do dziś pamiętam swoje zdziwienie, gdy podczas postoju na stacji Warszawa Centralna nasze dwa wagony sypialne nie zmieściły się "w peronach" i pasażerów wyprowadzaliśmy przez wagony z miejscami do siedzenia.
Sezon letni to zwykle bardzo trudny okres w przypadku pociągów sezonowych, ponieważ są to pociągi, które często łączone są w różne kombinacje ze sobą, czego przykładem były pociągi TLK Wolin oraz TLK Pirat.
TLK Wolin na odcinku Kraków Główny - Wrocław Główny prowadził dwie grupy wagonów (Kraków - Świnoujście oraz Kraków - Kołobrzeg) podobnie jak TLK Pirat, który na odcinku Bielsko-Biała Główna - Wrocław Główny także składał się z dwóch grup wagonów (Bielsko-Biała Główna - Kołobrzeg oraz Bielsko-Biała Główna - Świnoujście).
We Wrocławiu dochodziło do zmiany składów obydwu pociągów, gdzie grupy wagonów do Świnoujścia były łączone w jeden skład, który do stacji docelowej kursował jako TLK Wolin, a grupy wagonów do Kołobrzegu jako TLK Pirat.

Parked along the southside of the LRT, in Hopkins, Minnesota. It wasn't there on the way back.

VIA 6455 and 6458 were the power of 693 on This Sundays 693.This was shot about 6 kilometers west of Winnipeg.
The beach was great and all but this was the most exciting bit of the trip. Getting to watch the rail crew lay down new track at the intersection of State Street was very cool.
(I know, I am a foamer) These cars were carrying the new continous track for the job. Look at how long those pieces were! (MAK)
