When I first visited the SOO back in June and I saw the Canyon train equipement sitting unused in track S517 at Steelton, I could've sworn that it would never turn a wheel again. But somehow, somewhere, someone at CN decided it would run again for one last time. Who would've thought!?
Under the control of Algoma Central engineer J.C and second engineer S.T, CN P63331-06 is making it's way north on the SOO Sub along the Tracks of the Black Bear towards Agawa Canyon with F40PHR 106, 105 and 16 coaches on the head pin.

When you are at Tongi Station in the north of Dhaka and watch the trains for a while, you get the feeling that it is completely normal to ride on top of trains.
EP Cargo/Lokotrain 383.064 passing Kurort with a tanker train from Germany towards the Czech Republic.
383.064 is a relatively new addition to the EP Cargo fleet, being of 2020 build and noted in service in February of that year.
It's almost 10pm and a deserted Exeter Central sees the arrival of a pair of DMUs with Pacer 143618 leading.
The train is in fact an empty stock repositioning move from platform 3 running under the headcode 5E57. It will shortly depart from this platform (2) as the 9.55pm to Exeter St Davids (2E57). The unit on the back is Sprinter 150265.
I selected this frame from the sequence because of the way the driver was highlighted while the front-end remained largely in shadow.
I've switched commenting off for this one.

Yes, I know street photographers are supposed to be stealth and blend into the crowd, but I tend to interact with the population when the opportunity arises.
Conway Scenic’s Notch train crosses Willey Brook as they head back to North Conway. Noticing that year the train only ran to Crawfords on certain days offered opportunities of crossing the bridge not in shadows. Not another soul around until after the train passed. This is a close-up photo of rusting, weathered details on an old train engine at the Railway Museum in Musquodoboit Harbour.
A local train suddenly crosses the streets of Matsuyama, touching the low houses of the neighborhood.
The sun is setting and the train has already turned on its warm lights.

Now, Dunedin has no train serve except for sightseeing trains. The train station houses the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame and the Otago Art Society.
