Shot with my 50mm f/1.4, love this lens, sharp as a tack and great for bokeh/DOF
Toronto's famous Honest Ed's discount department store. "Where only the floors are crooked!"
As photographed on February 23, 2016. If you're a Torontonian and wondering what's different, the perpetually burned-out lights were "re-lit" in Photoshop. This is how the store would have looked in the seventies, when the bulbs were replaced regularly.
Opened in 1948 by "Honest Ed" Mirvish, it was demolished in May of 2017 to make way for a multi-story condominium and retail complex.

Jumped the Ferry (come icebreaker) again and went out to Hanlen's Point/Wards Island. I thought that the inner harbour would be frozen... and it was.

The OCAD building is one of my favourite buildings. Not only is it an extremely unique design but the way it dominates the street is very impressive. I don't think there is any other piece of architecture in Toronto that does this. I was happy to capture the CN Tower in the background as it's compliment.
