President of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee, Dmitry Chernyshenko took part in the London 2012 Torch Relay on Thursday 26 July. Mr. Chernyshenko carried the Olympic Flame in the center of London, starting in the City of Westminster, and finishing on Westbourne Street

Watching Scunthorpe's Olympic Torch Relay in Scunthorpe!

The Olympic Torch passed through Colchester today. Of course I was up early to photo the opportunity, despite the rain. There was quite a crowd even with the weather.

The torch bearer is Michelle Strydom.

A variation on the unloved right angle torch with an extension on the base to accommodate filters.

Rarely is the LA Coliseum torch lit.

Also called Red Hot Poker or Tritoma. Perennial native to Africa. Succulent foliage forms large yucca-like clumps, with 3-4 foot flower stalks.

Decided to change it up a bit last month and moved from a Blackberry bold to this Torch 2 with OS 7. First time with a Whiteberry. No complaints so far. Although I miss the feel of the bold.

Lamp I designed by combining different kinds of found objects.
