There were no premade marks, nor predrilled holes in the table for the dust collection box, so it was up to me where I put it. I just wanted to center it around the plate/lift hole. I used a centering ruler, and made a nice set of completely incorrect lines in both directions, before remeasuring things, and getting right. Always measure twice!

With winds gusting to 50+ mph and rain soaking the climbers in the afternoon, the final round of the 2013 Scottish Tooling Series - hosted by Transition Extreme in Aberdeen - was, well, pretty extreme.
Two shows, one is much closer than the other.
The first was July 1, 2001 in Barrie Ontario. We drove all night, got to the festival at like 8 AM, grabbed McDonald's and then napped in the car until the gates opened. I booted in a trashcan from the Egg McMuffin. Coldest day in July ever. I was armed with a sweatshirt, but still had to buy a blanket for ungodly amounts of cash to warm up. Of course then I had to hold it as I made my way to the rail in front of stage for TOOL.
The other show was in Augusta, ME on October 26, 2002.
