I started shooting tonight's sunset when it was "really pretty" and it kept getting redder and redder and was SO amazing! I wish I had been somewhere with no wires in sight! View On Black Wow...Explored at #106 Nov.15

Went up to Barbury castle, near Swindon. U.K. as a thunderstorm had not long passed over. Amazing views tonight

thank u flickr for the compression.

That was enough to get me out of my chair and into the back yard.

Just waiting for the Supermoon now, bit cloudy though.

Along the St. Lawrence River

It was one of those evenings where I really didn’t have the time to sit and watch and take a thousand photos of the developing evening sunset, but wished that I did. Instead I got about 3 minutes.

There was almost a backbone dividing the sky with half a rib cage of waves to the left.

The clouds just above the silhouette looked so permanent in nature that my daughter actually asked, where’s that? But they were just thick clouds on the horizon. This rib cage of waves I suspect heralds a weather front, but my knowledge of clouds isn’t good enough to be confident enough to be certain.

Thanks for stopping, I could wax lyrical all night, but I’ve a job to get to in the morning, which requires some degree of rest at least tonight.

It is appropriate that this sunset became spectacular since Mark and I are celebrating 1 year anniversary today 💖

That's pretty cool, goldenscape all the way!

Tonight's sunset from the inside of my car. I was standing outside the car taking my shots when all of a sudden it started to rain. I ducked into the front seat and noticed the raindrops on the window.

My son dug up his blueberry bushes to move them to his backyard and gave me one, 3 years ago... I planted it in a half barrel and it's doing great... these were from today!!

Wish you all a wonderful weekend!

sorry I had another dash down the fish quay tonight to catch this sunset I didn't know were else to go in a hurry and this inst far from where I live. I think this will be my last visit to this location this year because the suns setting to far round now . Thanks for looking

This photograph was made at the north of Hunterston just outside of Fairlie, North Ayrshire. I like this area because if you get the timing right, you can see the Heron Gulls fishing for food, unfortuneately, they are rather shy and not a bird that wants me to photograph it though I will keep trying. Maybe I need one of those huge birding nature lenses where you can shoot your subjects crystal clear from 5 miles away.

New Forest National Park, UK

the day has been mostly grey and wet, just a glimmer of blue sky early evening and then I saw pink through the window and quickly found the camera to record this bright sunset

Went out tonight to take some photos as I am already running out of stock. This one is straight from the camera... No enhancement, not even a crop.

Wednesday night's sunset....I was prepping the pool for closure this upcoming weekend while keeping an eye on the sky. It got to about 7PM and I figured we might get a good one. It was windy this evening so a reflection with a pond was out of the question with too much water movement. So I had this shot that I imagined a couple weeks back that I would use when I have little time to decide where to go. So I packed my gear and headed to this location and was not disappointed with the sunset. It was a little weird standing under these power lines for about 45 minutes listening to the sizzle and pop when that much electricity flows through these lines.

Yes..... it was that bright with the yellows and oranges.
