Day 2 - San Francisco - Come and ride the carousel. Eat a churro. Buy tokens. Ride the 3D and 4D rides. Buy trinkets and T-shirts advertising to the world back home that yes indeed, you did actually visit San Francisco and reveled in the gift shops of Pier 39.
Everyone else seems to be having fun. I'm glad I'm taking photos, it's keeping me from feeling icky.

This is the one and only sidewalk at the main entrance to the shopping center, yet it can comfortably acommodate only single-file pedestrians. Two people walking side-by-side will brush against the landscaping. There is room for a planted median between vehicle lanes (at far left), but apparently no room for a wider sidewalk, or even ANY sidwalk on the other side of the entrance. [DSC04797]
