Rare California Shell Card.

19th century gaming tokens. I have seen these in museums and love the engraved designs, so I got myself a few on ebay.

The tiny medal is 10.48mm in diameter. The original envelope and card are rare.

BR Standard '4MT' 2-6-4 tank 80136 working 2G04 0957 Pickering to Grosmont service rolls into Goathland and the single line tokens are exchanged with the signalman. Visiting 34028 'Eddystone' waits for right away heading 2P03 1027 Grosmont to Pickering service on 29th September 2024.
