The Toadstool catches the last of the light on the edge of Fairbrook Naze.
More often captured at sunrise this wind sculpted rock formation commands stunning views over the Ashop Valley in the High Peak.
The Northern Edges of Kinder Scout are littered with characterful rock outcrops that make for great photographic subjects. This would make a superb high diving platform, apart from the fact that there is no water at the end!

Amanita muscaria (fly agaric)
The toxic mushroom Amanita muscaria, commonly known as "fly agaric."
DescriptionA mushroom, or toadstool, is the fleshy, spore-bearing fruiting body of a fungus, typically produced above ground, on soil, or on its food source.
I would love to know something about mushrooms to roam through the woods and enjoy my good prey.
Unfortunately i only know very few mushrooms.
Found this lovely group of Toadstools in my garden couldn't resist putting a fairy ornament beside it to call it a fairy toadstool...lol

We did stay at the Toadstools until after dark. However, the Milky Way and even the moon were nowhere to be seen. While I did get some nice star shots, they were a bit boring. So I added a moon.
