Anything I see on my walks and at this time of year I like to photograph mushrooms and toadstools.
I visited the Toadstool for the first time in 2016, but had no time to do nightscapes.
When I was back this spring, I grabbed my chance to spend a night at this iconic Hoodoo.
As the place is quite easy to access and due to the perfect conditions, I assumed that there would be other photographers, but to my pleasant surprise, I had the place all to myself. The perfect chance to shoot a full Milky Way panorama...

On a bleak day with no light it was a struggle to get images however nature always provides me with something even if its not what I thought I would get
About half way between Kanab, utah and page Arizona, the small area is easily missed as wyou fly by but is is well worth exploring.
These toadstools are sandstone formations with a harder caprock that has protected a softer, more easily weathered tower. Located in Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
Light breaks through a heavy overcast day on a cold wintery day adding a sweet shine to accent the dominate, picturesque hoodoo that welcomes hikers into the Paria Rimrock area.
Rain is just perfect to encourage these fungi. Seen growing at the base of an old tree.
It may be Honey Fungus - Armillaria mellea Anyone know for sure?
