Where are the fairies? Sleeping in the moss wearing green bedsocks!

This was the day I was supposed to hike 'The Wave', however constant thunderstorms over the past few days made the road to 'The Wave' practically impassable as dry river washes turned into raging torrents. (not to mention the downpours and thunderstorms I saw when I passed the exit for it)

Tiny toadstool growing blissfully in my Dahlia container. Looks like a miniature Oriental parasol blown inside-out by the wind. I do a lot of 'container' gardening because of the large trees in my yard. Too many large & gnarly roots.

Here is a litte toadstool boy, I'm writing down this pattern too.

Inspired by Tabbi Kat's poem, I couldn't resist making another wee mouse with a toadstool umbrella!
