Close up and personal with a titanium-coated drill bit. Love the shallow DOF that my camera can now achieve.

This is an explosion of a something during the course of this fire. Clearly, it was enormous. I was never able to find out what it was that exploded. No one was hurt, thankfully.
The LCD screen was very dark, and the line was also contained.
But she was still a good secretary for my friend.

KGS Bikes recently began a relationship with Passoni and is now the exclusive US dealer for these custom bicycle frames. This is the fourth of four new custom bicycles headed to Vail, CO. This particular KGS / Passoni XXTi bicycle has Campagnolo Super Record 11 components with Ciamillo Gravitas brakes and custom painted handlebar, stem and cages. Lightweight Obermayer wheels finish out the build. The bike is designed for strictly mountain use with super stable steering and great climbing ability.

Standard version of our Titanium Seatpost - the effective length of the seatpost are similar to Brompton's standard seatpost - this is compared to when the Pentaclip is in it's highest position.
We have strived to design a lightweight, yet solid seatpost, with a beautiful and clean look. Brompfications Titanium Seatpost feature the familiar setup with two yokes that clamp the saddle rails in a half circle cradle. This is not only an elegant solution, but also save a lot of weight compared to Brompton's Pentaclip solution. The seatpost is flared at the bottom, like the original Brompton seatpost.
Titanium is one of the best materials for seatposts because of its ability to deflect shock, and increase riding comfort. Unlike most other titanium seatposts, all parts on our seatpost are made in titanium - not only the post and the bolts, but also yokes, connecting rod and cradle are made from titanium grade 5.
The seatpost are 185 grams lighter than Brompton's standard steel seatpost and Pentaclip, and 75 grams lighter than Brompton's now discontinued titanium seatpost.
Recommended rider weight limit of 100 kg. Recommended maximum rail clamp torque of 5 Nm.
The seatpost consist of a titanium post, a connecting rod, two yokes, two 5mm bolts and a rail support cradle.
Weight: 310 ± 10 grams all included. Length: 520 mm
Took a few pics of it when I was putting it together for the first time...did the deed on the top of my kitchen stove which makes a nice work table (don't tell my wife=:-)
This stove is held together with 3/8" sheet metal screws, folds and packs flat and small when not in use, has a roll up chimney, about 7' long but riolls into a 12" X 2" tube when packed. The chimney is Ti also
I've run it in my tipi several nights when temps got into the 30's...it will keep you very warm, easily in the 80 degree range inside tipi temps, and will boil water on top of the stove as well so it's a cook source too
The door you see in the front, the opening is 3" diameter...typically I use wood about an inch in diameter but I've burned larger pieces
Small sticks burn hot and fast
one of these days I'll get around to takling some photos of this stove fired up in my tipi. Fo0r some reason, anytime I've had the stove going in the tipi, the camera is no where to be found
BTW, I bought the stove and tipi from Ti Goat in Utah. Very good people to deal with. Quality built, fast quick service
BTW2, chimeny has a damper and spark arrestor, seen to the left of the stove. it all works great. The tipi I have is Sil-Nylon...I've had this stove ripping hot, never had any hot ash make it out of the pipe and land on the tipi. Great Gear for winter camping!!!
Day 21 - Titanium
Well they can't all be winners! There were so many subjects I could have gone with...cool fighter jets, sports equipment, toothpaste...but what did I choose? Titanium Man, an obscure supervillain from Marvel comics. I spent a little too much time to go back and do a different subject tonight...I may come back and redo this one at some point. G'night!
