The character and history of the community of New Waterford at the tip of Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia centers around the death and sacrifice of coal miners. There are multiple monuments and reminders around the area to death and disasters. While Nova Scotia is an exceedingly beautiful and friendly place it is also remembered for its disasters. It was here where the survivors of the Titanic (15 April, 1912) were brought for medical care. Halifax Harbor was the site of perhaps the largest munitions explosion (www.history.com/.amp/this-day-in-history/the-great-halifa...) Dec. 6th, 1917.

She was a beauty--a gold 45 goddess for sure! A Gold 45 Goddess exalts the archetypal form of Athena--the Greek Goddess of wisdom, warfare, strategy, heroic endeavour, handicrafts and reason. A Gold 45 Goddess guards the beauty of dx4/dt=ic and embodies 45SURF's motto "Virtus, Honoris, et Actio Pro Veritas, Amor, et Bellus, (Strength, Honor, and Action for Truth, Love, and Beauty," and she stands ready to inspire and guide you along your epic, heroic journey into art and mythology. It is Athena who descends to call Telemachus to Adventure in the first book of Homer's Odyssey--to man up, find news of his true father Odysseus, and rid his home of the false suitors, and too, it is Athena who descends in the first book of Homer's Iliad, to calm the Rage of Achilles who is about to draw his sword so as to slay his commander who just seized Achilles' prize, thusly robbing Achilles of his Honor--the higher prize Achilles fought for. And now Athena descends once again, assuming the form of a Gold 45 Goddess, to inspire you along your epic journey of heroic endeavour.

After visiting Tywford Wood I went on to this reserve. Again I had hoped to see a Spring skipper but none were seen. 2 others were also looking for them without any success.
However other things were seen and adders were about if not in the open.
Lots of orange tips flying in both reserves but I can't recall another settling.
Owner driver Mick Bonello is seen leaving the fertilizer storage sheds in Melbourne's dock area with another load of "Super". Towards the end of Leyland Truck models' availability in Australia, which was managed by Jaguar Rover Australia (JRA) the G-cabbed models were quite popular. However as the competition improved in terms of cab comfort and engine power, coupled to the uncertainty of supply from the ailing BL truck and bus division in the UK, Leyland's one time considerable presence in Australia fizzled-out completely.
