Brunhilde, our New Year newcomer, crashes on my pajamas

Ah, the life of a country Cairn terrier puppy, living in the habitat for which she was bred: Blossom Renee, at 5 mos. looking more feminine every day, lays claim to a deer jaw that Luther found in the woods. At this pt. Blossom had had all of her baby fur trimmed off and looked a whole lot more like a Cairn.

Batgirl! Brunhilde's not breed-standard, not the most beautiful dog in the world, but she's the happiest of puppies.

Brunhilde was never shy about baring her teeny-tiny jaws of death at Blossom. She was a spunky playmate from the start. Now, as I repost this, Brunhilde is coming up on 13 and Blossom is soon to turn 16. They're old but never less devoted.
