Trinket (Felix Brownie Gogo sculpt) & Tinsel (Felix Brownie Momo sculpt) - Mother's Day 2010 at Claudia Sanders Dinner House in Shelbyville, Kentucky, with Colonel Sanders look-alike, Col Bob Thompson who used to be the mayor of Lawrenceburg, KY, & now travels the world to appear at all sorts of events for KFC Corp. It was so fun - the entire table of dinner companions passed around the dollies to explore & play with them, lol. BJD awareness, yay!
The dinner house - which seats 700 people & consists of 4 lovely dining rooms, veranda, terrace, & stately lounge at the top of the grand staircase - is located directly behind Blackwood Hall - the beautiful antebellum home of Colonel & Claudia Sanders. Shortly after the sale of their Kentucky Fried Chicken corporation, the couple opened the dinner house together & began offering the very best of southern dishes & hospitality. Truly one of my most favorite places to enjoy a late afternoon into evening. : )
I thought I ordered the permanent wig for my Lati Yellow Benny, somehow Luna ended up stealing it instead :O
She still needs a name though!

Rin looks so cute against the starlight pattern. ♥
I made the flowers in Rin's hair... the little flowers are about 1cm each, handdyed silk. The art is called "tsumami zaiku" and it is from folding tiny squares like origami. It's a Japanese technique, also called "kanzashi" in English.
So Quinn now looks scarily like me as a child. A million times cuter, but the pale blonde bowl cut and big chubby cheeks are just the same!
Blanky can use a 4 types eye.
1. 12mm glass & acrylic eyes.
2. Paint eyes (it's use exclusively for Blanky.)

This is Peaks Woods "Wingky" the May fairy. She is 3 3/4" tall without the big flower head cap. She has white skin, an outie belly button, a round tummy and a chubby little behind. She represents "Wind", but I bought her the flower head cap instead of the wind head cap simply because the flower head cap is so pretty.
I just really like this outfit on her - she looks so cute like this! <3 And I love her pose in this picture - the fist hand was just perfect here I think <3
Oh, and for those of you who asked me; her hoodie is from icantdance on etsy, hat and boots from lalatroop/Peggy and her leggings are made by my sister, Lorentine.

I have been busy with faceups lately, so I haven't had much time for my own dolls. So, I took a few minutes of dolly time today. My husband and I went to Target and I got some Ken clothes for my incoming LTF Elf El. Tasuki had a little fun with the shoes and sunglasses!
I had been saving this fabric scrap for over 10 years and finally decided to just make something with it. I was expecting the maple leaves to be more prominent, but the waterfall part of the print took center stage. There's always a surprise working with large prints!
For a brief moment I was considering rehoming Cadi and buying a tan Bonnie from FL but then I got her out of the dolly drawer and knew she wasn't going anywhere. Cadi might have imperfections in her home tan but her faceup is perfect for my little skater girl in a way that the default faceup (much as I love it) will never be..
Ada is a tiny BJD from DollChateau.
She's 17 cm high with 8-10mm eyes. Her head can wear 3.5" wigs (PukuPuki or Lati White size).
I hope you like it :). The sculpture is created from concrete, steel, teeny LED lights and an operable window.

I'm starting a new custom project making a fairy house tree house that's two stories tall and features a root cellar, fishy pond, real working window and bonsai weeping cherry tree.
There are two light circuits - one interior and one exterior.
Everything is being designed to accomodate 1:12 scale dollhouse miniature scale.
