Meet the latest arrival to the Honeythorpe crew - I think her name is Clodagh and tbh I still can't quite believe she's mine. She's been a grail girl since she was released in 2012 but these baked pocket fairies were made in such limited quantities and only avaiIable at shows so I never expected I would be able to add Minimay as she's a favourite in Japan where these girls were sold. Now I have 3 BlueFairy baked girls, it really is my favourite tan so it's a good thing it's only available in such limited quantities or I would be forever broke. Thanks so much Hannah for letting me give her a home!

I have to admit that I am almost never 100% satisfied with the end result of my own BJD sculpts / dolls. There is always something that I could have done better or differently, perfectionist that I am. However, with my rendition of a 'Gelfling' I honestly think I come reasonably close. I've always wanted to create a tribute doll to the Dark Crystal Gelflings. And my Dira, she poses like a dream. So I am happy and satisfied. Will show her to you all SoonMost. 🎉🌱🎉 ~Happy Holidays 💞

Miku got a new pair of eyes! It is so difficult to find eyes that fit well for these tiny little ones. I rarely have this issue with my littlefees. They are still slightly gappy, but I love the vibrant color!!

I'm starting a new custom project making a fairy house tree house that's two stories tall and features a root cellar, fishy pond, real working window and bonsai weeping cherry tree.

There are two light circuits - one interior and one exterior.

Everything is being designed to accomodate 1:12 scale dollhouse miniature scale.

Sort of... Cherish was helping me look for my 50mm lens. It turned up with my vintage cameras. Close, but not where it was supposed to be! Cherish had fun checking out the other cameras, though.

It was my grandmother's 81st birthday a few days ago, and my mother and I threw a tea-party for her. Tess helped set the table, using Grandma's great-grandmother's dishes.

Rosie and I adore her new house made by CinderellaMoments! Today, I decided to add some brick and a shabby rose fire to the fireplace. I also really love the original plain white fireplace so I didn't glue anything permanently in place. It's good to have options!

The fire is wired with 2 - 1.8mm LED lights. I made a platform for the fire and stashed the battery underneath. The switch is behind the logs. I used paper flowers, tissue paper, paint and coarse glitter to complete the illusion.

I added a little lace curtain to the window behind the bed. I've ordered a beautiful handmade silk quilt for the bed and hope to receive it next week! The little embroideredy rug is vintage scrap I came across. I've been too lazy to iron it so far...

I made Mio's wig and the hair flowers. ♥

She's a 15cm doll.

The flowers are made of silk.

I used graph paper to draw diagonal lines using a silver paint pen. Then, I painted polyurethane in between the silver paint. Next, I added a little color into the polyurethane to add some "stained" glass.

Outfit based on a pattern by DGRequiem on etsy. I'm trying to expand my sewing repertoire a bit this year - starting out nice and easy. The pattern fit perfectly without any alteration and was relatively simple to sew - just watch out for those teeny-tiny seam allowances.
