My Realpuki kids are having fun coloring Easter eggs.
They're hoping the Easter Bunny will be able to visit their house this year....🐰
Here's a photo of the potting bench I've been working on. I will paint it and distress it. I'm also working on applying faux stucco finish using Kleenex and paint to the fireplace on the left. I made the little flowers out of paper from kits on etsy. Fun, fun!!
Three years as of February 9th. She's finally gotten a new wig and a travel case big enough for her to go on outdoor adventures again!
Emmi, Tilly and Sprout are staying busy on this rainy day.
This is the middle floor of my big dollhouse....I'm calling it a shelf today.
Happy Sunday!! 😊
This cigar box is a vintage "meditation" wooden box. I altered it and hand painted the furniture and accessories to make a little dollhouse world :). I installed a wee operable window, wallpaper, and curtains. Sitting room comes with dressing table w/mirror, porcelain tea cup and saucer, letters from friends, LED battery-operated hurricane lamp, rocking chair w/pillow, rug, clay roses in pitcher, and teddy bear.
Model is my Charles Creature Cabinet Firefly Faerie wearing Mixi Michi.

I made a garden storage bench out of popsicle sticks. (NO I didn't eat that many popsicles! )
Now, Bliss and Sweetie Belle are helping me make a potting bench. We're getting ready for Springtime. :)
Margo met her neighbors for the first time. She doesn't quite know how she feels about them yet, though.

This has been such an amazing project but it's time to for the little cabin to find its forever home.
In addition, this cabin will be featured in a fairy house book next year, so these are some of the pics for the book editor to choose from :)
Thx everyone for your support and for sharing my progress during the past months!

Today I redid all of the curtains because I felt like the lace I used the first time was too big for the scale. Whew! Curtains are a lot of work! I also modified a vintage Sonia Messer pot belly stove by drilling out the front and building an LED fire. :)
The rocking chair still needs stain and distressing. And, I made some headway on the bed!
Thx for looking :)
Well, baby hedgehog, Birdie, now has his own bassinet and toy horse and I finally finished painting all of the chinking on the interior walls. I broke down and ordered a husband for Bessie so he should arrive on the scene in a couple of weeks. She just seemed so alone and kind of sad! I really should consider making a different bed now to fit 2 hedgehogs but there's not much room!
For the exterior, I'm using paperclay to make real chinking (not just painted chinking). It's slow and I'm gonna try to work on the front of the cabin today: chinking, adding shutters and window boxes and a doorknob.
Coming soon table and chairs, butcher block and some foods :).

I'm adding layers of paint and clay ivy and flowers, and more paint and moss to get a cozy fairytale look on the tree trunk stump fairy house. The gardens are starting to form with moss, rocks, semi-precious stones, dirt and clay flowers. And, the weeping cherry bonsai tree is fleshing out too with pearls, sterling silver beads, rubies and topaz beads.

We design and create fairy houses, dollhouses, fairy furniture and dollhouse miniatures for all variety of magical beings :). All products are lovingly crafted in our woodland studio using forest bits and fairy dust (which was acquired some time ago)... All items are 1:12 scale, that is 1" = 1'.

I'm working on a series of wee fairy houses within vintage wooden cigar boxes. I found this teddy bear furniture at Hobby Lobby recently and plan to distress, stain, size and fairyize it to fit nicely within the boxes. :)
Received this adorable new design elf hat from Sally ~ ssmartraggs To wish us a Happy Spring! So thoughtful!! THANK YOU dear friend!!! We love it!! :))
I decided that my cabin simply MUST have a rusty tin roof and found this cool article about how to create one. The roof is made out of aluminum foil and given its texture by rubbing against corrugated cardboard. The article recommends spray glue to adhere the pieces but I think that would be too messy and opted for hot glue - which worked great. Next steps are painting in grey and then rustyness. Fun!

It's so fun to finally have a small dolly to play with all the 1:12 Rement. The diorama I made for Doll Festa is perfect for her size. <3
Photos of this project are going to be in a fairy book next year and we're trying our best to get decent photos. It's so tricky! I think I'll make (much) smaller projects for awhile LOL.
Thx for looking :) Tori

I'm finalizing the paint and decor on the fairytale cabin. To get the magical look I want requires layers upon layers :)
Sending lots of Peace and Love for my Flickr friends!! 💜
Created for Hearts theme in 😄 HaPpY CrAzY Tuesday 😜
These cuties are two of my fairies that I did up. :-) The heart Tyni on the right is holding is actually a Cheerio!! Who knew Cheerios (cereal) now came in shapes! I just colored it pink in Photoshop.
BTS: By "did up", I mean that I get BJDs (Ball Joined Dolls) naked, no eyes and no hair. Then I can make them up as I wish. Such fun!! :-)
