At this spot on Union Pacific's Provo Subdivision, the grade increases to 1%, and continues for seven miles until the embankment crests 5032 ft. York Summit on the Utah/Juab County line south of Santaquin.
Rio Grande GP30s No. 3013 and 3019 pull Elberta grain empties through Utah's Goshen Valley on the Tintic Branch the morning of Sept. 10, 1987.

El río Tinto (conocido como «Luxia»1 o «Urium» en la antigüedad) es un río costero del sur de España, que discurre a lo largo de la provincia de Huelva, en la región autónoma de Andalucía. Nace en la sierra de Padre Caro y tras recorrer casi 100 km llega hasta la ría de Huelva, donde se funde con el río Odiel.
El río es conocido por el color rojizo de sus aguas, de ahí su nombre. La coloración tiene su origen en la meteorización de minerales que contienen sulfuros de metales pesados hallados en los yacimientos a lo largo del río y en su nacimiento. Estos yacimientos son depósitos hidrotermales compuestos en gran medida por rocas de pirita sulfuro de hierro y calcopirita. El proceso de meteorización se debe a la oxidación microbiológica de estos minerales, causada principalmente por unas bacterias especiales como Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans o Leptospirillum ferrooxidans y otras bacterias acidófilas que oxidan los iones sulfuro y ferroso a iones sulfato y férrico, liberando protones que acidifican las aguas, y lixiviando una variedad de metales pesados como cationes en el agua. Es a causa del flujo de ácido sulfúrico que el agua del río tiene un carácter muy ácido. A este proceso se le denomina drenaje ácido de minas.
A día de hoy se desconoce con exactitud cuánto drenaje ácido proviene de procesos naturales y cuánto procede de las actividades mineras. Su acuífero principal se encuentra situado a unos 600 metros de profundidad, cerca de un cuerpo de sulfuros masivos volcánicos (depósito VMS).

Zinfandel by Robert Mondavi winery, Woodbridge, 13,5%
This Zinfandel by Robert Mondavi winery is absolutely gorgeous! At a temperature of 20 degrees, the wine is “drinkable”, with very soft tannins, a slight flavor of currants and other dark berries. The acidity is minimal, the wine is light and goes well with boiled meat. For its almost budget price of 500 hryvnia, the wine is beyond praise. I regret that I only bought two bottles at the time.
The color is red with a ruby tint. The aroma has tones of red fruits and spices. Cherry and spices are felt in the taste. The aftertaste is long and velvety, with a pleasant tartness of ripe bird cherry berries.
It is dry with very small acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, it is well-balanced and had a moderate length finish.
Nowadays, Napa Valley has become a US wine legend. Clay soils and an excellent drainage system allow for the creation of some of the most interesting and profound wines in the world. It was the wines from Napa Valley that once glorified the Mondavi company and Robert Mondavi himself.

Кислотність мінімальна, вино легке та відмінно поєднується з відвареним м'ясом. За свою, майже бюджетну ціну в 500 гривень, вино вище за всілякі похвали. Шкода, що свого часу купив тільки дві пляшки.
Колір червоний із рубіновим відтінком. Аромат має тони червоних фруктів і спецій. У смаку відчувається смородина, вишня та прянощі. Післясмак тривалий і бархатистий, приємна терпкість стиглих ягід черемхи.
Нині Napa Valley перетворилася на виноробну легенду США. Глинисті ґрунти та чудова дренажна система дозволяють створювати тут одні з найцікавіших та найглибших вин світу. Саме вина з Napa Valley уславили свого часу компанію Mondavi та самого Роберта Мондаві.

Kynance Cove. Popular since Victorian times, the brilliant turquoise water and white sand, with islands, caves and unexpected views are still a powerful draw today.

La Reserva de la Biosfera de la Unesco y Paraje Natural de las Marismas del Odiel es un espacio natural situado en la desembocadura del río Odiel o ría de Huelva, en la provincia de Huelva (España). Comprende los municipios de Gibraleón, Aljaraque, Punta Umbría y el suroeste de Huelva capital, convirtiéndose en extensión en la segunda zona húmeda de la provincia detrás del Espacio Natural de Doñana. A su vez integra las cercanas Reserva Natural de las Marismas del Burro y la Reserva Natural de la Isla de Enmedio.

Estos humedales se originaron por los procesos sedimentarios procedentes de la desembocadura de los ríos Tinto y Odiel junto a la dinámica de aportes del océano Atlántico, que fueron formando un amplio estuario, por lo que el paraje es una de las zonas mareales más importantes de Andalucía. Todo ello ha permitido que este estuario acoja sobre todo en invierno a una enorme concentración de aves como la mayor colonia de Europa de cría de espátulas (pues un 30% de ellas anida en este espacio), flamencos, anátidas, garzas reales, garzas imperiales, grullas, cigüeñas negras, lirón careto, rapaces como el águila pescadora y el aguilucho lagunero, etc.

En su interior se encuentra el Centro de Interpretación de la Calatilla, miradores de aves, senderos y áreas interpretativas y de descanso.
