Don't underestimate these little guys, while their claws aren't yet ready for throwing devastating punches, their speed can easily knock over the most vigilant Toa and Matoran, even their bite can be particularly vicious.
TIME FOR CRAB YEAR 2
Last year I made the white/orange Manas crab and he was very well received, this year I made the black/yellow variant to go alongside his menace of a sibling.
It’s #AquaJune and also #TimeforCrab :-)
This little Crab Mech is fully poseable, though its legs have a hard time doing their job ;-)
Unbothered. Spiky. Blossoming. Moisturized. Happy. In her pot. Flourishing.

#TimeForCrab continues! This year we invite all builders across the community and the globe to participate in a month-long open crab collab, spanning June 22 to July 22. The task is simple:
1. Build a crab
2. Post your crab with the tag #timeforcrab
3. Repeat!
All crustaceans are welcome, and your build can be anything recognizably crustacean-inspired. Be it an actual crab, a fantasy crab, a mech, a spaceship, a castle or anything else - just make it vaguely resemble crab! The primary venues of Time for Crab are Flickr and Instagram, but feel free to share your crabs far and wide. Spread the word, and invite your friends to join!
The ambition is to make this an annually recurring month-long open collab, always taking place in this same timeframe. Let's get the ball rolling.

It's Time for Crab!
Built for the TimeForCrab 2024 collab. As I’ve already done a Neo Classic Space crab I decided there needed to be a Blacktron crab. Because.
Fiercely territorial crabs that try to take control of whatever beach they find. Their unusual legs allow them to race along the sands at high speeds or, in emergency situations, bury themselves. They usually try to scare away rivals and other Rahi from their beaches by constantly racing around them in circles and getting in quick snips. As these crabs are proud of their speed, they’ll surrender their territory and other claims to anything that can outrace them. Though most Matoran just launch something at them to scare them off.
Designer’s Notes:* The part of the Roborider wheel launcher that holds the wheels is what’s holding the perpendicular Technic connector in place. Well, that and the hand piece resting partially in the Roborider head. Not the most stable connection, though there’s a bigger threat of the launchers sliding out entirely than the arm/leg assembly falling out. Normally I would go for something more stable but I couldn’t pass up on the shape of this guy.

The question is: Which crab is alive? and which is a robot?
My second entry for #timeforcrab challenge, organized by Pohaturon
I'm getting a lot of fun making those crabs even if it's far from my comfort zone :)
Hope you like it :)
This weary, old hermit crab is my contribution to the #TimeforCrab community event.
If you would like to participate yourself, it’s a very fun prompt!

The Minecraft 2023 Mob Vote Crab, my second favourite Mob that was robbed- I mean that lost the Mob Vote, right behind the Copper Golem (which inspired my other moc CU-29).
Made for the Time For Crab community collab!
(Thank you a9 for the large claw design, genuinely put my design to shame)
For this year's #TimeForCrab collab I built one of my favorite Battlemechs, the 50 ton CRB-27 Crab, an all-energy weapon skirmisher with some funky legs and funky claws.
A small Stingrays Crab Robot, had more planned but sadly no time to build.

Built for the TimeForCrab 2024 collab running from June 22 to July 22. Of course because it’s me I have to make it Classic Space themed…
The Twins of Teridax discovered this devious creature while leaving the Makutas guarded sanctuary, they quickly took a liking to this hyperactive mechanical crustacean, they even have the same stare, it's like they were meant to be.
TIME FOR CRAB
Shelltember! After two amazing months (#Frogust and #TimeForCrab), I think this September, it’s time for some turtles or anything with shells. Of course as a big ninja turtles fan, I’ll build few of those guys in different styles and share the instructions. Everything from the TMNT universe is welcome!
If you decide to join the fun, you can either join the Flickr group or post on instagram with hashtag #shelltember2025. It’s not a contest, just a challenge :)
Free instructions for these guys on tinybrick.world - enjoy!
P.S. Don’t forget that it’s also Shiptember!
After 9 years it's time for another Crab!!!!

This is my entry to #TimeforCrab. I wanted to show that some crabs don't want to be eaten, so they say: "Oh, crab, I did not want to become a crab stick!"

This is most likely my last build in this season because in August I will be very busy with studying economics and then I will have school, so see you next holidays! I still will be checking this place but I won't build anything. Thank you for this summer!
It’s time for crab!
If any of you haven’t seen it yet, there’s a month long (6/22-7/22) open collab going around known as Time for Crab. The mission is simple:
Build a crab (or crustacean inspired creation).
Post your crab with the tag #timeforcrab
Repeat!
There’s still plenty of time to get a crab in this year, so get to it!

The last of my slow burning 'home-brand' spaceship WIPs, this one is an attempt to use up a load of bulky bright light orange parts in my collection. Generating a structure capable of supporting the wacky combination of parts has been... interesting, but continues to be a fun challenge.
Design-wise I'm going for something that might fit alongside The Bowie from Guardians of the Galaxy 3. More by luck than judgement, it also qualifies as a #TimeForCrab build since it's loosely crustacean-inspired too!
