Accumulated 10,056 views on 210 pieces photo in 15 months period. This is the encouragement numbers for me; much appreciated.

Future, I will keep on challenging myself into next level. The level may cause my go extreme or maybe worse. Hereby, photo above will be my last piece at these time round, my activity in flickr will be slowly down. For sure, I will make use for time and space to other field. We will meet up soon.

Insect: St. Andrew Cross Spider, shot at Penang Hill.

n the labyrinth of palma’s streets, this image captures the surreal intersection of time and reality. a window display filled with clocks reflects the passersby, blending their fleeting presence with the perpetual tick of timepieces. the metal grid creates a visual barrier, adding a layer of complexity and confinement to the scene. the juxtaposition of the solid stone walls and the transparent glass speaks to the coexistence of permanence and transience in urban life. this black-and-white composition highlights the ever-present, often unnoticed, dialogue between the momentary and the eternal.

Time & Space is the most photographed sculpture-monument in Ibiza. The location of this mysterious work is in Cala Llentia, a work by renowned sculptor Andrew Rogers commissioned by Guy Laliberté for his famous Can Soleil mansion.

This mysterious sculpture is made up of 13 solid basalt columns weighing 420 tons that were transported by ship from Turkey to Ibiza.

The tallest column is about 10 meters high, finished in 23-carat gold to reflect the message with the setting sun on the day of the winter solstice.

I shot this looking to the north east as you can see a little of the pink glow from the Northern Lights which were firing off and visible from many areas in the UK on that evening.

Now everything is done, I can sit back and relax ... time for some family games ... Happy Christmas everyone :) x

Description: Chandra's mosaic of images of the Fornax cluster reveals that the vast cloud of ten-million-degree Celsius gas in the core of the cluster has a swept-back cometary shape that extends for more than half a million light years. This geometry suggests that the hot gas cloud is moving through a larger, but less dense cloud of gas that creates an intergalactic headwind. The core motion, combined with optical observations of the motion of a group of galaxies falling toward the core, indicates that the cluster lies along a large, unseen, filamentary structure composed mostly of dark matter. Most galaxies, gas, and dark matter in the universe are thought to be concentrated in such filaments, and galaxy clusters are thought to form where the filaments intersect.

Creator/Photographer: Chandra X-ray Observatory

NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory, which was launched and deployed by Space Shuttle Columbia on July 23, 1999, is the most sophisticated X-ray observatory built to date. The mirrors on Chandra are the largest, most precisely shaped and aligned, and smoothest mirrors ever constructed. Chandra is helping scientists better understand the hot, turbulent regions of space and answer fundamental questions about origin, evolution, and destiny of the Universe. The images Chandra makes are twenty-five times sharper than the best previous X-ray telescope. NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., manages the Chandra program for NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington. The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory controls Chandra science and flight operations from the Chandra X-ray Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

This is a new print that I've done in collaboration with Will Bryant in the US. I have a few to sell so have a look in my shop if you'd like to buy one. Also have a look at Wills site here.

Always fun to set up a standard shot in an unusual setting.

Here's a couple others from this weekends shoot. We tried lots of new things. Excited to process and post them up. I took the time to clean off the sensor dust on this one in photoshop so ya'all wouldn't bitch at me. :P

The alleyways of the medina are really narrow and really winding. It's easy to get disoriented. Add hours of flying and dislocation in time and space and you have a recipe for geographic embarrasment.

Nevertheless the good folk of Hotel du Tresor in providing an escort to a cafe mentioned that down this way was Jemaa el Fna. Following a light dinner it made sense to explore a little. This view back to where the Riad Zitoun Lakdim discharges you into the square seemed like a good idea to preserve some hope of a safe return from this little excursion. Regarde la lune! It is full and a nuisance. Did I mention that the French had been here?

Took a few shots up at "Las Puertas de Can Soleil" on the beautiful island of Ibiza. My good friend Justin was new to Light Painting but only took a few shots for him to get the idea of standing totally still for a minute or so to capture a crisp silhouette.

When I was in college I bought a book called "Drive, They Said". It is a book about Americans and their cars. The title, I soon learned, was from a poem by Robert Creely. It was in this tome that I had my first exposure to Minnesota poet (currently our state's poet laureate no less!) Robert Bly. The poem was "Driving toward the Lac Qui Parle River". As I went to college in Morris, MN, I was acquainted with The Lake That Whispers. One summer night, just a week or so before the term was over, I decided to go find the road mentioned in this poem. Just me, my camera, some music, and the sunroof cranked open.

I found it. Hwy 40. This is looking west, toward the Lac Qui Parle. It was at this very moment that I no longer took poetry or literature for granted. This is a scan from a print.

Here is the poem (one of my all time favorites) for those that haven't had the pleasure.

"Driving toward the Lac Qui Parle River"

By Robert Bly

I

I am driving; it is dusk; Minnesota.

The stubble field catches the last growth of sun.

The soybeans are breathing on all sides.

Old men are sitting before their houses on car seats

In the small towns. I am happy,

The moon rising above the turkey sheds.

II

The small world of the car

Plunges through the deep fields of the night,

On the road from Willmar to Milan.

This solitude covered in iron

Moves through the fields of night

Penetrated by the noise of crickets.

III

Nearly to Milan, suddenly a small bridge,

And water kneeling in the moonlight.

In small towns the houses are built right on the ground;

The lamplight falls on all fours on the grass.

When I reach the river, the full moon covers it.

A few people are talking, low, in a boat.

Many years later I met Robert Bly at a poetry reading at the library in Eagan, MN. He is a gracious and pleasant man. He signed the page of my book this poem is from. Upon reading the title of this book he laughed and said "Yeah, Creely wrote that!" He then quoted the line and said, in the most Minnesotan of fashion (as do the members of my immediate and extended family) "He's dead now". During the reading, Bly asked if there were any requests from the audience. I shouted for this poem. He looked me square in the eye and said "Why?". I told him I had gone to school in Morris and had driven that road. I couldn't fumble out that this poem had cast in me a life long appreciation of verse. He read the poem and added his comments as he was reading. It was tremendous. I must have smiled like a fool for many, many hours afterward.
