WRITTEN IN THE SAND

It's written in the sand. It's whispered on the wind

It's in my gentle hands. This love I feel for you

It's mingled with the joyous tears. It's constant as the stars

It's sanctuary from our mortal fears. This love I give to you

It's in the deep blue of my eyes. It's in the words I say

It's high above the heavenly skies. This love I have for you

It's wishing on a shooting star. It's glowing like the moon

It's healing all our past life scars. This love that's meant for you

It's warm as gentle sunshine. It's soft as April rain

It's like the dove of columbine. This love I share with you

It's peace and tranquil; fine as thread. It's smooth as velvet cloth

A sumptuous pillow for your head. This love I found with you

You found a place where you belong. You found a different way

You found a nightingale in song. A love to share each day

Come take my hand and walk with me. Come dancing in the rain

Come swim with dolphins in the sea. Come share your love with me

Time and Space by Andrew Rogers Time and Space – The Speed of Light. Ibiza, Spain.

Thirteen solid basalt columns forming a Fibonacci sequence located on the edge of a cliff facing the ocean in Ibiza, Spain.

The tallest column, ten metres in height, is highlighted in 23-carat gold to reflect the message with the setting sun on the day of the Winter Solstice.

The sequence is laid out around the circumference of an ellipse alluding to the trajectories of the planets moving around the sun. It is a vision of time and space the the interconnectedness of humanity.

The Fibonacci sequence is demonstrated both in terms of height and spacing.

Extracted and carved in Turkey, the 420 tons of basalt were loaded onto a dedicated ship and transported 4,400 kilometres to Ibiza, Spain.

The columns are mounted on basalt bases weighing from 7.2 tons to 12.5 tons. The tallest column weighs 19.5 tons.

Construction commenced on 17 January, 2014 and was completed one week later on 23 January.

A valley stream was visited in for four months after of since then at the beginning of January.

This year was semiarid, so the quantity of water is probably little.

It was the prediction which will be so, but the water is certain degree of unexpectedly.

The momentum which is so was kept, and it was flowing.

Early summer of the spring when the trees in a forest of the entourage who surround a

I take on the aspect in early summer at fresh and green green already.

Dedicated to Daft Punk. I made the drawing and took the photo in Brussels. I somehow wanted to express the feeling I have when listening to Daft Punk sound: Everything flying around me... The duo is holding the discs from "Tron: Legacy" and the dog is wearing a Darth Vader helmet =D

Daft Punk is an electronic music duo consisting of French musicians Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter. The musicians recently composed the score of the film "Tron: Legacy".

The duo is well known for its elaborate live shows, in which visual elements & effects are incorporated with the music. The group is also known for its emphasis on visual and story components associated with their musical productions, as well as for wearing ornate robot costumes while performing.

Moment, Space

A poem by Peter S. Quinn

There is this moment and there is this space

...Conjecture ways to really understand

Being and demanding purity to its place

Following no rules to see and command

This is more about you than it's about me

Being someone that's completely different

Space falling down to a clear view to see

Blank confusions - illusion accomplishment!

Many ways resolved onto their distance

Blank at the bottom hit with its confusion

In the blind-spot always demanding clear trance

Problem with it all because of intrusion

Daft Punk plunks through their density on beat

In time circle to another element street

It's quite exhilarating standing over a scene like this one at Waterton, AB. You lose that sense of time and space that accompanies you through 'normal' life and you kinda soar. Yep, soaring, its good for the soul!

In a quite hidden place along the road between Avanos and Nevsheir in Cappadocia... A large landscape architecture operation almost no one visit... A surprise found while going around...

Draw me a Dream

A poem by Katie Gabrielle

Draw me a dream

Give me a pencil

Paint stars in the sky

Show me the way

And maybe I'll stay

Make the sky blue

Or maybe pink

Send some moonbeams

And a cool space ship

Add a few stars

Don't forget your telescope

For your trip

I want to dream!

Before I go

Across the desert

I shall wander

Just make sure

To wake me

Before I miss

My favorite dinner!

I want to dream

I want to fly

I want to see

What's out there

Beyond my pillowcase

Across the sky

And maybe the universe

But get me home

Before my teddy bear

starts to cry

It's fun to dream

And make believe

It's just a game

It's just a pencil

So you can play

If you believe

If you see the world

Just like a child.

(thanks Katie!)

Trickery of time playing fast and low, linear or circular.

You are supposed to see, but it's all colourless and blurred.

You wait for some infinite to show you. But you can't even figure out what you should be shown, eventually.

一台相機對準狹窄的巷弄,紅磚牆與斑駁的建築訴說著歲月的痕跡。鏡頭框住的不僅是空間,更是城市中被遺忘的故事與時間的靜默。

A camera focuses on a narrow alleyway, where red brick walls and weathered buildings speak of the passage of time. What the lens captures is not just space but forgotten stories and the quiet stillness of urban life.

I got this effect by zooming while the shutter was open with a relatively slow shutter speed. Now it seems as if the statue is traveling at high speed through time and space.

hello again!

it's been a long time since i shoot and uploaded something new and i almost forgot how fun photography is!! i was soooo excited to show you this picture!! to be honest, i'm beyond happy with how this turned out. :D

the topic of the picture perfectly applies to my life right now. i'm constantly thinking about deadlines and age, about how time flies and about how i don't have enough time to do things. there's never enough time. and especially there is not enough time left with my friends. in a few months we all will graduate and then we will be scattered to the four winds. i don't like that thought, because now in college i finally found those friends you want to keep close.

my model and this gorgeous girl is Elena. she was awesome! even though it was freezing, she stayed with the props at the location while i rushed back home to get the cape, because i totally forgot about it and left it on my bed.

The sun leans gently into the horizon, painting the dunes in liquid gold. A woman stands still, rooted like an ancient tree, yet light as wind. Her silhouette dances with the fading light, a quiet hymn to the setting day. The sand cradles her steps, tracing stories soon to be swept away by the whispers of the evening breeze.

In this fleeting moment, time dissolves. The mountains bow in the distance, and the sky hums softly, wrapping the earth in warmth. The delicate lace that adorns her moves like petals in the air – fragile, yet woven with strength. She stands not against nature, but with it, becoming a thread in the vast, eternal fabric of land and sky.

This is not merely sunset; it is a symphony of stillness. In the heart of Florianópolis, where the dunes stretch like ocean waves, the ordinary melts into the extraordinary. The dance of shadow and light leaves behind an unspoken truth – that beauty exists in the quiet, the pause, the breath between one step and the next.

***

We have two bits of evidence about the Somebody [behind the Moral Law]. One is the universe He has made. If we used that as our only clue, then I think we should have to conclude that He was a great artist (for the universe is a very beautiful place), but also that He is quite merciless and no friend to man (for the universe is a very dangerous and terrifying place). The other bit of evidence is that Moral Law which He has put into our minds. And this is a better bit of evidence than the other, because it is inside information. You find out more about God from the Moral Law than from the universe in general just as you find out more about a man by listening to his conversation than by looking at a house he has built.

Calm evening on the North Shore. Warm December HDR.

To say that it's still at the end of May, this day is close to 30degrees.

I spend the daytime in the cool shade in a hot summer day, and, dusk waited.

When I pass 4:00pm and go out to a coast, it's cool finally.

The sea breeze began to blow, and I came and was felt pleasantly.

But there is time sufficiently until sunset, so I'm a wave.

While taking a picture of the moment when a rock is broken, the sunset point, certainly.

The moment when the sun sets finally begins to draw near, and I select.

The sun which falls in a horizon gently from the done location.

The time and space were put back while feeling solemnly!
