Last week I organised a shoot in the local bluebell woods with Molly, a professional ballerina. I have been looking to do this shoot for years, and it nearly got scuppered by the weather. We could do the shoot in only 3 hours of dry weather. In another amazing photo shoot in the Bluebell Woods, we managed to dodge the rain and capture mesmerizing shots amidst the serene beauty of the Bluebells last week. Look out for more shoots coming up around London. Check out my website.

I never knew about Lower Bankhead until TikTok! Little did I know we've driven past it about 100 times... Highly recommend.
It was so peaceful and quiet because apparently nobody really knows about this place. :)
I think I stood here the longest looking at this view and wishing I could build a house in this area. It was so peaceful and quiet it was amazing!

Fresh from the Amalfi Coast if his T-shirt tells a tale, a young man rests awhile at the Uffizi Gallery in Florence – and, of course, checks his phone. Modern life in an ancient institution.

Tiktok is a personality that's hard to miss in Singapore. If you live there or have visited the place long enough, chances are you've come across him atleast once.
Me and my wife were in Chinatown one day, and as we were walking about enjoying the wonderful sights, we hear this clicking of wood, like wood chimes but with a musical beat to it. We eventually found out that somebody was 'playing' the "tik tolok tiktok" sound using a piece of bamboo stick hitting against a flat piece of bamboo wood. Enter Tiktok, my 22nd stranger =) I didn't actually came up to him the first time, having again the hesitation of approaching people and asking them for their photo, but after seeing him again after about half an hour of walking around chinatown, and being so intrigued by what he's doing, and with my wife's strong persuasion to just go do it... i just had to go ask him for a photo.
I actually had a bit of a difficulty conversing with him because he had a really strong Chinese accent and his English was a bit limited. So between that and my bad memory, i have completely missed his real name. In lieu of that, Me and my wife nicknamed him Tiktok :D
As it turned out, Tiktok is a man of many talents. He is able to imitate sounds, from animal sounds of a bird (or was that a chicken?), to a ringing telephone, to an ambulance siren! :D He had a few tricks to show too like balancing an umbrella with a pen =) He is such a wonderful amusing character that amazed my wife and I a lot. He dresses quite nicely too as you can see on the photos below, which makes him even more endearing and easy to approach. I hear that he does some magic tricks too when i checked out his youtube video =)
I would've wanted to take a lot more portraits of strangers when i was Singapore, but really, with such a wonderful colorful character like this stranger, all i really needed was that one personality to make the experience well worth it. I thank Anj, my wonderful lovely wife, who have been very patient and supportive of my photography, and whom without her encouragement i would have totally missed out on this encounter.
