The user manuals says that the screen of this cable 'must on no account be earthed' so I covered the end of the cable with heat-shrink sleeving. And fitted 4mm plugs to the signal wires.
Our master bedroom closet was beginning to feel like it was closing in on me, with piles of clothes tossed here and there and quite a few things that needed to be passed on. So, in a sudden surge of energy, I tackled the worst of it, and feel much more comfortable in this space now. Yay for getting things done!
For CMS206 one of those more interesting vehicles noted in a Paisley scrapyard yesterday was this pretty solid and good condition VW Golf bearing an F reg and pretty solid. The same yard had what appeared to be a Dodge Charger too. Sadly the current DVLA system makes it necessary to issue Certificats of destruction for abandoned vehicles making their resurrection pretty dificult.
A renewed river regulation after the devastation of a mudflow from the small brook in the background.
Yesterday evening and today I spent a lot of time shredding old paperwork from my dyslexia work, dyslexia association, church etc. and then started on tidying the garage. I tackled the masses of cobwebs, found a few things for the charity shops and took them along, and decided to get rid of my old bike and also checked with bethan that she didn't want hers. I found a guy on the internet who does up old bikes to sell, and took them over to him in the Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle - the two bikes fitted in easily :-)
In the evening, Mike & I watched one of my charity shop DVDs, The Proposal, which was quite fun, if totally predictable!
