A little late with some uploads recently but I've been lazy.. again.

You run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking.

I spent a half an Hour hardly having to move, my arms and eyes fed my imagination.

8th Avenue and 34th Street, New York City

The mouthparts of the tick Ixodes ricinus (Deer Tick or Castor Bean tick) looking from the underside. I found this one with its hypostome buried in my arm after a walk in the forest. The whole tick was around 3mm across. Using Olympus 20x LMPlanfl, Raynox 5320 as tube lens and dual flash

I only allow so much time for homework. Or, rather, I am only willing to help for a set amount of time (20 minutes). After that he does it on his own or he puts it away to do at morning recess with the VP of his school. When he pitches a fit, I put it away for him. Usually, the next night goes smoothly and suddenly the same amount of time is more than enough. Funny how it works.

These are photos taken on my trip to Europe and the UK with a girl friend in October to November 2012. My camera I had then wasn't good with low light so some of these shots are not great but I have put them as my memories of the trip.

After we left my friend in Summerton we stayed with my friends in Surrey. They took us down to their holiday home in West Wittering where we took some trips around the area.

This is Portsmouth where we spent a few hours walking around the harbour area on a cold windy day in November.

Portsmouth is a port city and naval base on England’s south coast, mostly spread across Portsea Island. It’s known for its maritime heritage and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. The dockyard is home to the interactive National Museum of the Royal Navy, the wooden warship HMS Victory, where Nelson died in the Battle of Trafalgar, and HMS Warrior 1860. The Tudor ship Mary Rose is also conserved in a dockyard museum.― Google

... And you are young and life is long

And there is time to kill today

And then one day you find

Ten years have got behind you

No one told you when to run

You missed the starting gun...
