Thunderstorm approaching Berjaya beach

A cool looking storm east of the Dallas area. I can't remember if it was severe or not.

This was taken in March of 2005.

We had some serious thunderstorms pass through today and got copious amounts of water dropped on us! There was a lot of lightning close by when I was out taking these pics so I didn't stay out very long as I didn't want to push my luck!

Thunderstorms today in Central Florida.

It was nice and calm with warm temperaures. As the gust front came through all kinds of debris was thrown into the air. This is the start of the defined squall line which brought the rain, lightning and some hail. Storm is moving cam R to L.

Prescott Arizona

During this thunderstorm, lightning strikes started numerous wildfires in the area.

The thunderstorm and cell that spawned a tornado that landed in the dry part of Folsom Lake and headed east-bound across western El Dorado County (doing some damage but no injuries so far as I know) and passing to the north of our house. I could head thunder as I took these pictures and got back inside as quickly as taking pictures would permit. The thundercell was over central El Dorado County as I took this picture.

The shelf cloud of this strong thunderstorm can be seen close to the ground below.

I just parked myself at the window and keep snapping away. Kinda of difficult to grasp the timing.

These convection driven thunderstorms are getting blown away by drying wiinds and breaking up at the end of the day.

Thunderstorms enter the valley as sunset approaches.

The sky was so beautiful during the storm tonight! My camera and I got a little wet during this but I couldn't resist.

More than 2,500 Duke Energy customers remain without power Tuesday morning after powerful thunderstorms rumbled through Greater Cincinnati Monday, knocking out power to more than 50,000 and dumping 1.5 to 2 inches of rain in about an hour.

On Monday, high winds as fast as 60 mph blew down trees and power lines, according to the National Weather Service.

It all happens a T minus 22 seconds.

The thunderstorm filled the window frame, so we whipped the camera on the tripod, and locked the remote switch on "auto".

It snapped some one hundred photos, of which three were good, and I added them on top of each other in Photoshop.
