Fuck you, Thunder. You can suck my dick. You can't get me, Thunder, because you're just God's farts

I looking forward to shoot thunder for a long time. But, every time I come to know its thundering ... either I was sleeping or I'm out of touch of my camera. But this time I was lucky, I got it... though it was behind a high rise building...!! Still, I'm happy and I was thrilled to shoot that beauty...!!

Hi there folks! Here is something to prove that I'm capable of building stuff other than a stealthishly-jetfighteresque-V16-hypercars.

So proud of the logo! Well, provided it was all I did here apart from cropping and auto-correction of colours. The model? Oh yes, this was a spontaneous build, but I still took my time to refine it. To my eye it's a whole pack of fresh ideas, but of course that's debatable. It has this toughness and aggressiveness of a true rally vehicle combined with some modern innovation, overall scoring a unique and mean dirt destroyer.

The Terry Fox Monument, situated in the outskirts of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, on the North Shore of Lake Superior is a public monument commemorating cancer research activist Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope.[1] The monument, which depicts Fox is open to the public and offers a panoramic view of Thunder Bay and its surroundings.

The statue was created by sculptor Manfred Pervich[2] to mark the place where Fox was forced to halt his run on August 31, 1980. It is not located at the exact spot where he ended the run, however, but is approximately four kilometres further west;[3] the exact spot where Fox ended the run is noted only by a private marker not readily visible from the road.[4]

Terry Fox Monument is located on Highway 11/17 near Thunder Bay. The 9-foot statue is set on a 45-ton granite base with a foundation of local amethyst, and it commands a panoramic view of Lake Superior. The monument depicts Terry Fox during his run.

Terrance Stanley Fox CC OD (July 28, 1958 – June 28, 1981) was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist. In 1980, with one leg having been amputated due to cancer, he embarked on an east-to-west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research. Although the spread of his cancer eventually forced him to end his quest after 143 days and 5,373 kilometres (3,339 mi), and ultimately cost him his life, his efforts resulted in a lasting, worldwide legacy. The annual Terry Fox Run, first held in 1981, has grown to involve millions of participants in over 60 countries and is now the world's largest one-day fundraiser for cancer research; over C$850 million has been raised in his name as of September 2022.

Bue skies in Paris! We didn't see that often on our visit...

Big Thunder Mountain is one of my favourite attractions at Disneyland Paris, and in my opinion the best version of this attraction (well that I've been on...). I think it's head an shoulders above the stateside versions, mostly because its length and the fact it sits on its own island. The tunnels that lead to and from the island are pitch black and the train traverses them at some speed so they feel pretty thrilling!

This shot was taken from the Molly Brown riverboat which circles the island. And yepp the river really was that green!

Taken from the road bridge outside St Austel station we look down on Class 52 1011 Western Thunderer just backing onto the stock of the 16;00 motorail service to Kensington , at this time this was a regular Western turn, it was a good train to photograph as it did plenty of stock shunting giving me plenty of chances to take different pictures, it will take the train out of this siding then push it into the platform on the left. Great Days KC. I photographed at Par and St Austel that day Western's seen were , Par 1023/28/34/63/71. St Austel 1009/11/27/55/71/72. 15/7/1975.

It's been a week since Thunder has been given his first chemo treatment. Progress has been slow but it feels like there are improvements. We need to wait for 3 weeks before we can perform the tests on him.

Everyday he gets steroids in the form of chewable tablets (one and half). Thunder being a picky eater, getting him to consume medicine is almost impossible. But thanks to pill poppers, I’m able to get his daily medication.

There has been improvement in his appetite. He consumes anywhere between half a cup to one cup of his kibble. I try to sneak in a baked chicken breast here and there. I’m hoping as we move into week 2, there is more progress here.

He still is very dull and lethargic. The thing he loves the most is to run. When I take him to the park, you can make out that all his runs are not even close to his full speed. Also he tires out fast. So there is still a lot more improvement needed here. On a positive side, he has slowly started to play inside the house. This is the biggest improvement I’ve seen. Even though it's for a couple of minutes at random times, it's still a huge moment for me as this behaviour shows that we are slowly inching to more of a normal mode of existence.

I’m hoping that week 2 will have a lot more positives. Thank you all for your suggestions and wishes. Both Thunder and I are extremely grateful for your thoughts, prayers and wishes!

Shot these during a nightly thunder storm last summer.

While Thunder Dragons are technically "Wyverns", this distinction is lost to the locals who care only that they exist. Local myths claim the Thunder Dragon is a harbringer of great chaos, as they often show up in the dark clouds that bring heavy rains and destructive lightning. Do they bring the storms? Do they follow them?

I've had that dragon head built for literally a few years now. It was time to do something with it! I've got a ton of new stuff to post over the next month as I get time to photograph it, but with Aaron's Dragonlands contest ending, I had to hasten my photoshoot of this one to get it entered!

Thunderstorm passing by, this truly shows the power of nature!

An unsuccessful afternoon fishing at Birdlings Flat, was finished as we were chased off the beach by a thunder storm that came up the coast from the south-west. Not good to be fishing with carbon-fiber fishing rods in an electrical storm.

I managed one shot with lightning in it. Heavy rain ensued for about 30 minutes, by which time we were half way home and then the sky cleared.

See the lightning just right of centre.

My first attempt to capture a thunder strike.

Last week a friend of mine and I met up Martin to have a second bicycle shooting. The weather was perfect with some clouds and sunshine (interesting sky). But you were able to feel it in the air, a thunder storm was coming. After the shooting we had some beer in Martins garden and we were looking in the sky what was happen there. We saw a silly cloud with lots of thunders inside. What a amazing weather phenomena, it looked like a special effect from a Sifi movie from the 70th. We had the idea to follow this cloud to capture it. But I hadn't the right lens in my pocket. You need a wide open field/area to capture it, Martin maintained. So we drove to the Senne which was very closed by. The Senne is a military training area for the British forces and you are able to drive trough during the opening time. There is a big parade area where we found what we were looking for but the problem was, the silly cloud was gone. What we get was a thunder storm which was coming very closed to that area were we was stayed. After a while and some shots we decided to leave because the wind was blowing the thunder storm in our direction and it is crazy to stay in the middle of a wide open field during a thunder storm ;-)
