Submarine used by the Hood at Lake Anasta. I saw an interview with Peter Jackson concerning the Thuderbirds. He had this sub in his hands. He actually owns the real filming prop of this sub used in the episode. Even the greats are Thunderbirds fans.

We had a beautiful Spring in Phoenix this year. It brought out a ton of classics. I have never seen so many classics on the road before.

Ricky Rudd's #10 Tide Thuderbird show car during Speed Weeks in 1994. Notice how much wider the nose & air dam are than the the side of the car. Also notice how the doors still have some roll/contour to them at the bottom.....no slab sides & side skirts quite yet as with today's NASCAR "stockers". Always thought the Tide rides had the single most effective paint schemes ever in NASCAR....no mistaking who the sponsor was even if there had been no lettering on the car.
