We couldn't believe it! They were actually selling throwdowns at Light Up the Lane (if you don't know what they are, they're a type of non-lighting firework - you throw them at the ground and they go bang). These were made illegal in Australia when I was about 8, just I as was beginning to understand how fun they were, so Djelibeybi and I each bought 3 packets (3 for a pound!) and had a fabulous time with them. We've saved some for Christmas :-)
