Photographed December 2019 / FED-1 (type-F) rangefinder 35mm film camera with LOMO T-43 , 40mm/4.5 hacked lens. Film was FOMAPAN 200 metered ASA 125 developed in PMK PYRO (5ml A + 10ml B > 600ml, 6min 10sec, 20*C). Negative was digitalised by illuminating on a light panel and scanning with a Pentax k3 DSLR with Schneider Componon-S 80mm/4 enlarging lens on adjustable length helicoid extension tubes. Image was edited on an iPad mini using the Snap Seed application: full frame scan of negative no trimming.

Norbury Junction (Grid Ref SJ 793228) is a canal junction about 1 mile (1.6 km) to the south east of Norbury, in Staffordshire, England. It opened in 1835, and closed in 1944, although the main line of the Shropshire Union Canal still runs through it.

NMWA rolls through the 113 at Waterville after dropping their train on Track 2, as 506 idles in the background on the power track.
I took this photo last year, I bought some cheap close up lenses off ebay and was playing around with them untill I came up with this cool idea. What we see through our camera lenses :)
Taking photos through (dirty) glass is never easy and even less so when the animals are very close to the window.
If wild lions didn't need to hunt or mate I think that they would probably lie down and sleep for more than the 18 out of 24 hours that they do. For that reason it was good to see these captive born lions displaying uncharacteristically boisterous behaviour by chasing this metal ball around their enclosure.

I've put two views below, in Comments, to hopefully show just how hard it was raining.. The first is a closer view of the area on the left and the second is the same as above but before I added "clarity. You'd think it was shot through….a veil :o)

What a lovely surprise I had when I looked out the kitchen window today - a pair of Goldfinches chomping on my lavender. This was taken through the window with my zoom lens - not the best quality but I am chuffed!

The Sunday morning quiet is broken in the tiny Green County hamlet of Juda WI. Here a pair of eastbound Wisconsin & Southern SD-40's (4174 & 4175) sound their horns as they cross County S at the edge of town. The train has completed work at Monroe and is heading to Brodhead to make a setout.
- www.kevin-palmer.com - I've seen pictures taken from this arch above Bighorn Canyon, but I've never been able to locate it until now. And it's not too difficult to reach. Compositions are limited because of the way the arch is set against the cliff and you can't get very far back. Just as I started to leave, the sky unexpectedly took on a pink glow and I ran back to the arch to capture the color before it faded away.
