This waterfall is located near Creede Colorado. Travel along the Silver Thread Scenic By Way across Slumgullion Pass from Lake City Colorado. This waterfall actually name is North Clear Creek Waterfalls.

eight minutes and 20 seconds and 93 million miles after leaving the sun, these rays threaded the needle through the perforations of this single oak leaf, directly to me.
Deep below the tortuous streets of the Outlaw city known as the Shade, on valley floors roofed with layer upon layer of city, in caves entombed below foundations, lies the Goblin District. These dank chambers, where no human foot ever dares to tread, and no ray of sun ever penetrates, are crowded with goblins. These outcasts of outcasts live in cramped stone cells and tunnels built or carved into the rock. The streets are a haphazard, bewildering vertical maze of slowly decaying wood platforms. The air is still and foul, and the murk is only broken by dim smoky torches. All the refuse of the city above slowly filters down into the goblin district.
Naturally, this suits the inhabitants quite well, and they consider it the pinnacle of modern urban planning.

This build was built specifically for and displayed at Brickworld Chicago 2017. It is all new, but the concept is a redux of an earlier "Goblin District" build, which I decided to do because I particularly liked how that build turned out as an in-person display piece, and I wanted to enlarge on the idea and add a few things I couldn't fit in the original. This build is viewable on all sides, and includes a working winch and built-in lighting.

Ops, I forgot to say that it's jointed, the legs and head are movable.
A spool of greenish-gray thread on the scanner. For thread-level detail, I recommend an original-size view of the lower right corner.
This wasp will ambush its prey immobilize it with a swift powerful sting. It will then drag the prey into an underground lair and will lay one egg. When the egg hatches the larvae feeds on the prey. Adults feed on flower nectar and small insects. They are not aggressive towards humans but I don't think I'd want to annoy one.
Exploring my grandmother's button box, I found a curved needle and a metal button and started playing.

After noticing the interesting shadow a piece of floss made under artificial light, I experimented with white thread on white paper. I rotated the paper in the morning sun and watched the shadows change. I tried a couple with black thread, and liked those better, then tried colored thread. It was so interesting to see how the shadows looked so different than the string that made them.
An Re 10/10 led intermodal scoots through the short 88 metre Mühle tunnel and traverses the first of the three crossings of the Meienreuss river it will make on its run up through the Wassen village. The train is about to enter the 300 metre Kirchberg tunnel below the church of Wassen.
Strangely (for this locale and for me), it was sunny for my entire visit, but quite hot and very humid, with a visible blue haze in the air which is visible around the peak of Chli Windgällen in the distance.

Even though my Ordinary Object set is finished, I will continue to photograph those simple things that interest me. I love spools of thread and this large beehive like cone of thin yarn (is there a name for it?) caught my eye at an estate sale and I bought it. I found the entire shape of it so simple and sculptural it has found a place on my desk and I will be photographing more of it.
The babydoll pajama craze of the 1950s & 1960s certainly made an impression on me. It was in the 60s when I remember my mom wearing babydoll sets like the one on the left here. In fact I believe the first articles of female clothing I ever wore was one of mom's babydolls when no one was home! I had seen a movie on television called Murderer's Row and in it Ann Margret was wearing the most amazing babydoll in one scene! It was shortly after that when I tried on my mom's.
You can't really find babydoll sets like these in the stores any longer. So it was in Victoria's Secret that I found this babydoll set (right photo) about 10 years ago while shopping during the Christmas holiday season. Mine is a Kelly green with green and red ruffles, lace, and decorative threading. You may seen me wearing it in various previous posts. Bothe of these babydoll sets have the floaty and frilly wide bottomed tops and are very very short as they are supposed to leave a glimpse of adorable bloomer style panty bottoms! I can see the one on the left has lace edge at the bottom of the bloomer and mine has more of a frilly ruffled hem.
These types of garments were extremely feminine and gave a woman a kind of flirty but not overly sexy image and I do wish styles like these will come back one day! I hope you have enjoyed similar babydoll pajama sets or just enjoy see some photos of them!
