I felt a need to stash some thread. I was actually completely out of white thread! So, I ordered 10 spools to keep the twitching down.

Thread for embroidery.

A set of nine beads, 14mm approximately, in silvered glass with random thread pattern.

This was my first major attempt at free motion embroidery. I did it on a felt background that I had needle felted different wool onto so that I wouldn't have to cover the who piece with thread.

I really enjoyed doing this.

I got organised, threads are separated into a bunch of bags so I can find what I'm looking for

I mainly just wanted to take a late afternoon, brightly colored picture today.

Melissa over at OhSewPretty gave me the tip on the stripey fabrics above. I had seen the one in the bottom right hand corner before, but she directed me to Spotlight for the others. I see more Blythe stockings. (groans inwardly)

The paisley one is for the lining of the jordy bag I'm making. I couldn't resist the tulip one, and the matching guipure daisys I found.
