So, the big question in my head is “will we get any significant snowfall today?” I’m sure I should be more preoccupied with far more important issues, but snow, to me makes all things good, it perfects an imperfect world as it falls ( not as it’s thawing and all brown/grey ) everyone slows down, people walk and if they’re out walking they’re more likely talk too.
There’s a sense of peace and calm as you not only have to slow down to get anywhere but also as you watch those big flaps of pure white flakes descend from the sky.
The thought that getting home tonight might be through some snow doesn’t especially fill me with joy however ( but unlikely in Cardiff to get stuff, more panic with 3 flakes!) but, if it does, mark my words I will have watched and enjoyed the snow fall.
Thanks for stopping

Working with the new 100mm macro. Im trying to work it all out. It’s heavier than I’m used to and bigger massive compared to the 28mm M lens. With the M50 and the focal length of the lens it’s interesting learning how to work with it and then there’s the shakes. I shake. So I’m working on how to steady it and will play with a tripod.

in Japan Kyoto
Daigo-ji (醍醐寺 Daigo-ji) is a Shingon Buddhist temple in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, Japan. Its main devotion (honzon) is Yakushi. Daigo, literally "ghee," is used figuratively to mean "crème de la crème" and is a metaphor of the most profound part of Buddhist thoughts.
Several structures, including the kondō and the five-story pagoda, are National Treasures of Japan. The temple possesses 18 specifically designated national treasures, including the buildings and other works as well; and the temple holds several dozen important cultural assets. Wall paintings at the temple were the subject of academic research which earned the Imperial Prize of the Japan Academy in 1960.[4]
As part of the "Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto," it is designated as a World Heritage Site.
The five-storey pagoda at Daigoji temple was built in 951 and is the oldest building in Kyoto. It was one of few buildings to survive the Onin War in the 15th century.
The fact that they're making Roy from arrow could mean that they'll be making Arrow figs with the new Dimensions game or even arrow sets. I wouldn't be too mad about this because a third party customizer will surly pump out an exact copy in a few months. And hey, atleast it's not The Arrow right?
SPOILERS FOR ARROW
.
.
.
.
the fact that this is Roy and not The Arrow or Diggle or Speedy probably means this is a figure that didn't make it into the set or as a pack for dimensions because he was replaced by speedy.
what do you guys think?

I was struggling already this week to come up with some ideas for my wednesday post! But this picture turned out to be more interesting then I thought. Took this last weekend when I did have some inspiration to go out and shoot outside but the weather let me down. This morning I set my alarm at 5am to go shoot sunrise at a local roundabout but again the weather let me down :( so I revisited this picture. And when I really got in to it, I started noticing these little details there are in this shot. Now when I see this image it almost looks like a Lord of the rings war zone, where to enemies are trying to cross this massive crack. What do you see in this image? Let me know down below!

This is a very powerful message to all of us. I hope that this will touch some of you as it touched me.
The "garbage-killed bear" is more than a cute turn of phrase. Rather it's an accurate description of a tragedy that plays itself out more and more frequently as people move into bear country and bears learn that people carry tasty - if not very nutritious - food.
