I had thought I would find comfort for my grief in my photography. It seems that would be a natural outlet and escape. But in reality, picking up my camera has been the hardest thing for me to do. So many memories. Lindsey was a huge support and companion, as well as a willing and joyful subject. I have found my garden to be the place I turn to . I don't even mind pulling the weeds! I was very pleased the other evening when the sunset light was falling on the flowers and I felt the need to go grab the camera!
A large house on the island.
Nice location, by the water, but it looks abandoned.
But there´s electricity, still, so what is it, really?

Just some thoughts. We live in an amazing time in history. Not the best of times but oddly amazing. We have a pandemic sweeping the globe, civil unrest peaking higher every day, a new cold war starting. These are crazy days. This is also the sort of time in history when real change often takes place. The big question is whether this is going to be change for the better or for the worse?
In two days they're going to do a CT scan on my RL head. I had brain surgery in Real Life last November. Now they're going to find out if I am still mending the way they want. I am going to remain optimistic about the world and my head.
Thought I would let you see a classic from nearly 9 years ago...😳💋

I thought I would slow things around by posting this. Taking a short break from the tour!
Found this small snail (the shell measures about less than 1.5cm) in my garden and I must have taken about 5 dozen photos of this creature. Lucky for it, it does not have any eyes, otherwise it would be blinded.
Is this a boring photo? btw, the black background is natural... created by using flash!
