"I like to think of thoughts as living blossoms borne by the human tree."
James Douglas
Have a wonderful spring weekend!
I always thought this would be a good candidate for some texture. Not really feeling like working on any new photos this morning, I started reviewing old uploads.
I added two texture layers here to give it a warmer feel.

Thought we would get a storm on the Gold Coast Last night but this is as close as it came. Taken From Tamborine Mountain looking west
As i woke up this morning, i had my camera all set up by my bed. I had the remote under my pillow, so i decided to take a pic.
Story/Reason:
Recently, life feels so tiring, i feel so tiring, and i have lost interest in the things i had zeal for. I make less Music, Don't have the feeling of attending lectures, can't seem to get enough sleep, and the weather keeps getting messy. So i woke up this morning thinking thru life and trying to get my brain ready for the day, but i seemed depressed.
I hope this passes soon.
Here is the world of thoughts.
A bunch of parrots sitting together on a branch, appearing like a group thinking upon some philosophical thoughts of life....different thoughts emerged in one place.
I'm happy to tell you that I'm much recovered and back on the saddle again. I cannot say that was able to take it as slow as the doctor ordered, as I did put in long hours working on my newest creation, but I did try to take a break every hour and mind my posture while working.
The horrors of Japan: the earthquake, the tsunami that followed, the fires and the unspeakable risk of nuclear destruction have left my lingering in Dark Thoughts. I channelled these thoughts into a black and alarm yellow gown and will donate the profits to help Japan. *The gown is already sold.
The "Dark Thoughts" gown is made for Sybarite dolls and consists of a translucent and long sleeved corset bodysuit with garters and closed from the back with a row of buttons, net stockings with wide decorative lace, black and yellow shoes, a voluminous and richly rouched tulle petticoat that consumed more than three meters of tulle, and a sequinned over skirt with two trails. These parts can either be mixed and matched or worn together as a full and luxurious gown. This creation is also the very first to carry the embroidered em'lia logo tag. The fashion is photographed on Sybarite Queen B who I temporarily flocked with a matching yellow KatSilk flock.
i thought it’d be fun to get a festive picture in front of the christmas tree with grandparents and cousins but didn’t anticipate odin would block most of the tree. he’s almost taller than grandma!
thought you would like to become acquainted with my wife ...
she is sitting on the left side, tier 15 ... ;-)
8 vertical captures with 24 mm - just to give a hint for the space ...
Thought I should post a recent pix of my granddaughter Caroline shown here hanging out with Barney. Being an empty nester, my husband and I have 5 kids between us and they're spread out with my two (and my only grandbaby) living the farthest away. Barney doesn't quite know what to think of Caroline and follows her everywhere she goes. She is the light of my life and will become a big sister in November. My life would be very near perfect if I could lose 20 pounds and my grandkids could move closer. Both seem quite impossible for the time being so I'll just buy bigger clothing, avoid mirrors and count my blessings!

thought i'd try something different rather than having a wave looking the same as the others. the only downfall was the focus was set to far away and my arms where not long enough to get myself in focus.
OVERALLl i think it turned out not to bad besides the rough head in the forground
Thought I'd have a little fun on this Translink Skytrain photo. The train car is a Bombardier ART Mark II (aka Bombardier Innovia ART 200). Would look so much better if Translink would just wash their trains daily!

PHOTOGRAPHERS THOUGHTS …
We were at Cape Cross Seal Reserve, Namibia, at a 10,000 strong seal colony, and boy you knew it ... ! But that is nothing to the estimated 210,000 that arrive in the breading season (Nov-Dec).
So many opportunities, but finding or being lucky enough, is another thing entirely. The biggest problem is trying to isolate the subjects – there are just so many seals, laying all over each other ...
I was lucky enough to be composing for a head shot, when he decided it was my lucky day …
