I thought I'd upload a picture of the girls taking a rest on the sofa in The Cabin after their long East egg hunt. Only Bonnie had other ideas and decided to jump up and down on the sofa getting herself entangled in the bunny garland which just got her even more excited. I know the girls are wishing that all the other children out there are having as much fun as them this Easter.
In the quiet I stand within the ancient golden cage, the silks around me shimmering in hues of teal and gold. The delicate fabrics cling to my skin like whispered secrets, each fold a memory of performances past. As I prepare for my next spectacle, my heart flutters with anticipation and the thrill of impending magic.
Tonight, I am not merely a dancer but a conjurer of emotions, a storyteller whose body weaves tales of longing and liberation. The cage, a paradox of confinement and freedom, has been my stage and my sanctuary. I trace my fingertips along the bars, feeling their history and the promise of future enchantments. The air is alive with the murmurs of the crowd and the soft rustle of the silks, harmonizing with the beat of my heart.
Every performance is a dance with destiny, a flirtation with danger and delight. I imagine the crowd’s awe as I spiral upward, defying gravity and expectation. The cage becomes my universe, each movement a rebellion against the mundane, a celebration of the strength and vulnerability woven into every fiber of my being.
In these fleeting moments before the performance, I am both mortal and myth, a bridge between the tangible and the fantastical. My mind is a whirl of dreams, and as the music begins to swell, I surrender to the rhythm. Tonight, my dance will be a luminous saga, a timeless ode to freedom and passion, etched in the annals of magic and desire. With each graceful step, I will weave a spell of wonder and liberation, inviting every onlooker to believe in the power of transformation. I am unstoppable.

Thanks for all the support! 😊
You live in my memory,
though we've never met.
I know you are out there somewhere and haven't found me yet.
Rest assure I will be waiting,
when you finally come my way...
Patiently I am waiting, and hoping for that day.

Thought it was so cute how these turtles all had their heads turned in the same direction!
Have a great day!
Thanks so much everyone for your visits and encouraging comments!!! I'm so glad to hear from some of my friends!!! ; )
The story goes that the Spaniards brought donkeys to Bonaire to assist with salt production. When donkeys were no longer needed, they went feral on the island. They are now controversial. To some they damage the environment, eating native plants and preventing reforestation. To others, they are a part of history, not to mention adorable and gentle animals.
This donkey was all alone on a vast Salina. My camera is practically sitting on the ground because I wanted to get the separation betwen the brown donkey and the surrounding terrain. Fortunately, the donkey just watched me as I did my thing. To me the clouds look like those "thought clouds" in cartoons. If so, this donkey has a lot on its mind.
The Forth Bridge was opened in 1890, having been 8 years in the construction. It was started in the knowledge that, given the poor safety standards of the time, men would die in the process. At its peak, approximately 4,600 workers were employed in the bridge's construction.
As of 2009 it was recorded that 73 men lost their lives in accidents. A memorial on shore records their names and occupations.
Two new bridges have since been constructed nearby: The Forth Road Bridge and The Queensferry Crossing.
For me, this original bridge is the most 'handsome' and characterful. We visited on a late autumn evening and stayed for sunset. The gathering dusk gave a sombre and reflective mood.
Before starting a journey, there's always one last thought. You can almost see it, touch it. But this last thought stays on the dock as the ship sets sail. And we stare at each other, knowing that as soon as one of us looks away, the other will be forgotten. And there's no way back.
This little girl was looking at a wall picture and enjoying herself. I think she had realized that I was going to capture her, but pretended not to see me.Then, I noticed her face slightly changed.
I think her mind did not let her see what her eyes wanted to see.

Apparently it's my birthday today!
I thought this was some kind of thrasher but have been corrected that this is just a northern mockingbird. It just seemed too think and its bill extra long to be a mockingbird but I can see it now. This bird was in Juab County Utah.
